They make a remote oil filter system for these motors. Inexpensive and work very well. Anyways this project isnt an 83,4% waste of time. Not many people doing this on the internet. Love what you do.

Angel would make a great co-worker. The real problem with working alone is there's no one around when you get in trouble. The job I used to have was a job I did alone, it was a problem the few times I got a minor injury. No witnesses !

GoJo original formula hand cleaner works on all you were covered with including hair and there is zero bad side effects. I know very well from experience, 1960's muscle cars.

I'd say try Simple Green to clean your hair and skin, but you got the glue out of your hair and off of your skin already. I'm so glad that it didn't get alot into your eyes, that would have been a nice ride to the Hospital, with the blown out can of glue. Enamel Reduser might have worked for getting it off of the floor and everywhere else, but it would be a try it and see situation.

I’ve done oil change and screen, adjusted the valves, spark plugs and wire, cap and points and rotor. Replaced running boards. Body work and painted. Valve cover gaskets. I can’t forget the exhaust header)

First thing I did was think about what was the least harmful oil like substance in the MSDS I would have on hand, and hydro fluid (ATF) I knew was relatively safe/non-carcinogenic.

Years ago I worked for alpine euro auto parts, owners traveled from county to counties in Southern California picking up parts from 1 store and delivering to another, 1 of the owners had vw transporter ,on a cold night driving from San Diego to orange county a can of spray paint did make into a tote, it found a cozy spot by a heater vent and exploded on the 5 freway

Grease and Dirt IS called Gert! AND no one seems to think about spray can danger any more! I like getting the marbles out of cans of spray paint (most are real glass marbles), and to do that I have to degas them first. I use an old pair of grass clippers and drop them on the cans. One time the clippers just made a small hole in the can and I watched as it lifted off the ground like a Harrier Jet to a height of about two feet and then flew forward for about four feet before the small amount of gas that had been in the empty can ran out! Wish I had a camera on that one too!

-- Glue. Sometimes you leave S on until it falls away by itself (save the hair). Spent spring, summer and fall rust protecting my winter beater. I just ran with the RP-342 and others until it came off. Did use gasoline for problem areas. Thumbs up.
