Bought this on vinyl when it was released, with the original sleeve before it was banned. Possibly the greatest album of all time, from one of the greatest bands of all time, although they never captured me as much ever again after this album. Nirvana my top then GnR, but if GnR had split after this album it might well be the other way around, or if Nirvana had gone on to make bland stuff like GnR did.

Every kid who grew up in the 80's hears that guitar intro then the drums and we know what's coming...all-out assault...the last 2+ minutes of this song can't be topped even all these years later... this band just exploded on the scene and it was metal domination. I saw Guns N Roses in 2017 on the "Not In This Lifetime" tour when Slash and Duff (the bassist) rejoined the band after like 20 years. This was the closer. Axl can no longer sing like he used to, but I appreciate the effort he puts into it. I'm so happy that Axl and Slash finally worked out their differences and are playing together again, they were born to make music together.
