SHOW SUMMARY
No, this animated series is not about anthropomorphic chewing gum, it's about a young cat named Gumball Watterson. Gumball has a penchant for getting into trouble, often resulting from schemes he comes up with, but he never seems to learn his lesson. Gumball's best friend is a fish named Darwin, who used to be the family pet until he grew legs and became part of the family. Talking about Gumball's conversion from Slapstick and Situation-based humor into it's Meta and Dialogue humor is actually a pretty interesting thing to discuss, since most of the fanbase says Gumball is getting better in later seasons and others are saying the first few are better. I personally like the meta and dialogue humor, because in this day and age, for me at least, it is hard to find a show that relies on clever dialogue and humor, and try more for the easy things. Episodes like the Safety and The Copycats show off what they can do with it, and I really enjoy the way they incorperate stuff like satire into their episodes. It shows that the creators aren't slacking with it and trying to put out creative and clever content. This is all opinion, so don't take it to heart, but I think that Gumball is only getting better as it goes into deeper seasons. Or maybe this is because I'm a teenager, and I respect Gumball for not just being funny for kids, but funny for teens and adults as well, something that lots of shows, especially on Disney, don't seem to remember how to do.

Was not expecting you bring up Foster's in the middle of a Gumball review, and boy you sure did that. I mean, I liked it it and it was relevant to what you were talking about, but boy was I not expecting that going in XD I don't have much to say about the episode itself, because I'm not a huge watcher of Gumball or DHMIS, but I liked how you talked about the change in animation, and how good Gumballs animation is good. Because it's really nice, if unconventional. And your right, that transition was... Odd, but it really was the best they could do switching to such a drastically different style. Good video. And, memetically, also cancels Yellow Guy's favorite colour because "green is not a creative colour!" (One of the show's running gags is that the "teachers" don't actually know what they are doing or talking about, and seem to be trying harder to keep the main characters from succeeding or thinking for themselves than actually teaching them anything useful and constructive!)

Alpha Jay: This episode will make you love gumball I was like six maybe seven when i watched this episode of gumball and it horrified me, i couldn’t sleep because i kept having nightmares about the puppets, also after watching the episode i was corious about what DHMIS was and after watching it i didn’t sleep for around a week and a half and i hated gumball and refused to watch it for months. I just wanted to add that gumball isn't the first cartoon to play around with different animation styles. Chowder and Adventure Time have both done this. Adventure Time doesn't do quite as well as Chowder or Gumball but thought it was worth mentioning. Chowder especially doesnt get enough attention.

The video game consol scene makes allot of sense to those of us who grew up in the 90s. I remember having a Sega Genesis. At one time Sonic The Hedgehog was my #1 source of indoor entertainment. (This was before the Internet and Smart Phones) So when your game scrambled while playing or would not boot up chances are the chip at the bottom of the cartridge had dust in it. So, you simply blow in it to clear it. For me, I was literally giving it CPR. I couldn't bare to be without my gaming experience! So seeing Gum Ball do this out of shear desperation was hilarious! He took it to a whole other level. All I can say is, "I feel you Bro!"

Hey alpha jay I ve been watching your channel for 2 weeks now and i liki how you review things and how honest you are and not taking everything super seriously like some other critics. And I have a reguest for a show to do a did it start off well the 2012 nick teenage mutant ninja turtle because i think that that show is very underrated for how awesome it is and there wereatleast 3 episodes theat made me shed tears because of how engaging the story was and how the characters while learning new thing they were the same in their core since the first time we meet them and i think the pilot just blew tmnt fans away and it is a 10/10 2 parter pilot and almost felt like a mini movie and ended up puting the main conflict on the table but sadly the show is over and i think that alot of people dont care and think that it s somethig like the other reboots but in my opinion this is the best tmnt show not overly serious and not a comedy but just the right mix beetween them and it sad to see it so underrated and not talked about by most critics exept a couple tmnt fans > So i hope you read this comment and answer me what you think about my request.
