I am from one of the "sex destination" countries. One day I got approached by a guy just asking innocent questions like "what's this building?". I thought he's just being clueless dude, but then he started asking if I am living alone. It clicked in my head. I told him that he is being a creep, and if he continues - I am calling the police. The creep tried to play it as a joke and started giving compliment on how smart and interesting person I am. I just ignored him and walked away from him. What a piece of sh*it. And you know what? Unfortunately its not just this guy. Its a well known fact that men go to these countries specifically for these sorts of things. My ex is from a developing country. I met him in Canada. When his brother had been in Canada for over a decade and had no luck with the ladies here, he just popped back to his country for a month and picked up a wife. One that he had never met before. Apparently it was 'love.' The truth is that these women would do anything to get out of poverty, and living with or sleeping some creep isn't even the lowest thing out there. Men know this and take advantage of it. Its very sad for the women who end up with chauvinist men who only value them for the sex and cooking they provide.
@shamefuldisplay969210 ай бұрын
I understand he is underhanded, grimy and pushy. But are you just going to pretend like these women don't do it for cold hard cash? Like gold digging is somehow not predatory, shallow, or in the womans favour (at least here in the USA). What this guy is doing is wrong, but I'm feeling sick seeing everyone just pretend like some of these women aren't just chasing money in the same way those men chase companionship.

My only advice is don't be afraid to be a brother. A couple years ago working inventory at some store in a local mall. The store went fast and we were coming out just before the mall closed, this young woman came jogging up just pleased as punch to see her "brother." I spotted some old guy a little ways off looking like a grumpy testicle so I did the only rational thing. "Sis! What are you doing out so late!?" *break to wave to some coworkers* "hey, come meet my sister! We were going to grab a late dinner, wanna come along? Where'd you park, and yo, you want us to call the cops or anything? Seriously, let's get you the hell out of here.." Granted I can't say it's always the best move, but I guess she figured the guy in the maroon polo and leaning on a stick from too much time spent kneeling and counting jeans was a better bet than Wilford Brimley's left ball.

After my mom left my dad(insane pos). In the course of ten years he went to the Philippines and Thailand, picked up 3 different woman and brought them back to America to have families. These women were all in their 20’s while he’s around 50. They weren’t educated and my dad would rather fake a leg injury for 10 years than get a job. My grandpa spent the last 10 years of his life patching up all the mistakes my dad made. I have 3 step sisters I’ve never met. All of the women he brought home were dishoned and stuck in America with no place to go. I was there when my first step mom from the Philippines broke down and never wanted to see his face again. She was begging her family to accept her again. And I’ve never seen any of them since.
@nannettefreeman7331 Жыл бұрын
Sorry your dad's like that. My mother was a lying, thieving, manipulative exploiter of any & everyone who had the misfortune of encountering her, going particularly hard on family members. She stood over her own mother on the day the poor woman died, demanding she sign checks so she could continue to take from her even after she was dead. She used 4 of those checks posthumously. She never did anything that didn't directly benefit her. Thank God she abandoned me at the hospital where I was born, & I was raised by her parents, so I didn't grow up thinking her behavior was normal! She recently died, so the world's a slightly safer place for decent human beings (if only we could purge this Bondo creep too). She never apologized for any of her horrible behavior. She felt no need to redeem herself in anyone's eyes. She just didn't care. I'm fairly convinced she was a sociopath. She died alone, no loved ones at her bedside, only hospital staff pumping her full of morphine, which she always preferred over loved ones anyhow, so good for her! So I know how you feel. It's strangely embarrassing to have a parent like that, even when you have some distance between you & them. It's been particularly weird in the wake of her death (no pun intended). People keep saying, "Sorry to hear about your mom," & my first instinct is to say, "Don't be;" but unless they knew her, that just makes me sound like a cold-hearted bitch. So I just say "thanks" & keep it moving. For those who DID know her, well, first off, they don't offer condolences, but when they ask how I'm doing, I simply say, "I'm not sad about her death. I'm sad about her life." ✌🏼

This is what I really hate about foreigners going into other countries feeling invincible and omnipotent. Here in the Philippines, whenever there’s an American (or generally a white guy), people start flocking around them, treating them with extreme hospitality and kindness in hopes of getting something in return (usually $$$), and once the American knows what’s up, they feel buttered up, ride on a flattery high, and feel superior. For example, usually whenever you are in a fast-food chain (or whatever establishment that offers services), the customer service is shit; people look like they haven’t got their morning coffee and are moody as hell, but when an American steps in, BOOM! instant improvement of service for THAT SPECIFIC PERSON ONLY. I’ve even seen the store manager of a diner step in and become the American's personal butler. For my countrymen, or basically all the people living in third-world countries; there’s a fine line between genuine hospitality and pretentious, arrogant obedience. If you’re being kind and overly obedient to a foreigner just to receive some kind of payment after that, you’re scum. You’re willing to sell a part or your whole dignity at prices so low they can just get you by for a day. What’s worse is that you get some sort of pretentious superiority just because you’re affiliated with or have served a foreigner. Just because they have the currency advantage, doesn’t mean you have to ride their dicks and feel blissful about it. Whatever point you are at in life, never sell your dignity for money. For the foreigners who exploit this culture not just in my country but in all the third-world countries out there, get out of our land. How does it feel to be a bottom-feeder? How does it feel to exploit people’s financial states for your dicks to be burrowed in deeply? You even dare to act righteous when you’re trying to justify your deeds as being "perfectly fine." Just because you’re white, having euros and/or dollars in your pockets, and can speak English, doesn’t mean you have total dominion over us. There’s nothing really impressive about getting people to follow you for your money and feeling some sort of acceptance over it. In fact, people who know what’s up will look at you with a sense of pity and disgust. You’re just a miserable human being who’s trying to look less miserable by toying with even more miserable people. You are a foreign cancer in our society. TL/DR: Third-world people who are willing to make a fool out of themselves for foreign money are scum. Bottom-feeding foreigners need to look at their pathetic lives before fucking another third-world person.

you are not entirely wrong but currency advantage is a bit missleading we have (at least for europe) products only we make and thats why our currency is so valuable for example the device you commenting this video its chances 100% prduced by tsmc ( the chips who make it run at least) and the machines who are used by tsmc to make these chips are from europe (namely the lithographic lenses and laser handelung stuff ) so if you say currency advantage you are not by much better than david bond because you only act upon what u see and what you value ( and now dont come with coloialism the toxic facilletys next to where i live are not helping anyone living near by with the stuff that they spill out exept the products so yes he is maybe bad but your arrogance to thechnological adcheavements and the price those who facillitate them is at least insulting)

Maybe thats why filipinos are known for their hospitality that it becomes almost an integral part of the slogan for tourism
@kirby578010 ай бұрын
@@habichnicht8845 I don't care about any of that, quite frankly. I dont care how Euros are the way they are now because that’s not my point. My point is that some Filipinos would do almost anything to get paid in a currency more valuable than ours (PHP) because it's a common misconception here. If you get paid in dollars (or any currency higher than PHP), you're automatically considered rich. Having a strong currency in your pocket as a Filipino is seen as an “advantage” Expounding further: Foreign currency here, I'm afraid, is severely, SEVERELY overestimated for most people in the Philippines. Let's take, for example, the Euro, which is equivalent to ₱60 here. Wise people see it not as €1 but as ₱60, and they know that they should spend it wisely because that's usually enough to get a person from point A to C, along with many other perks such as food, water, etc. They might also hold onto it for a bit longer for emergency purposes. However, for people who overestimate the value of a currency, that Euro is spent right away on anything but their necessities because they feel rich just from the amount of Pesos they received. A more concrete example is when something is too expensive here in the Philippines. A common phrase Filipinos would say is "dolyares na ata ang presyo nito!" (translation: the price of this thing is already in dollars). It usually means that only foreigners with strong currencies could afford those items because, for Filipinos, $4 doesn't mean much to foreigners. See how much power foreign currencies have in our culture? Filipinos can't help but see dollars and any other strong currencies as gold bars because the exchange rate is so high that they can't help but feel rich because of the amount of Pesos they're receiving, and there’s actually a good reason for that-poverty. The cost of living here is relatively cheaper compared to the rest of more established countries, yet the minimum wage here is abysmal, sometimes even less. In America, the minimum wage is $7.25 per hour (may vary from state to state idk). It means that in a 9-5 job, they get $58 per day. Now compare it to the minimum wage of the Philippines. ₱600 per day for any non-agricultural workers. Now, if we calculate the difference between the wages: $58 • 55($1 is ₱55) = ₱3,190 per day (9-5) 3,190 - 600 = 2,590 THAT’S AN 81% DIFFERENCE! That’s why even if the living expenses are cheap, it’s still not enough to support a household with food, water, electricity, etc. That’s why for most Filipinos, getting paid in strong currencies MEAN THE WORLD TO THEM, and they would do ANYTHING just to get their hands on them. Anything. May it be a noble job or an immoral one. Any. Thing. That’s why some rich people here have dollars, euros, rials, dinars, etc., inside their wallets to represent their wealth, their “advantage” to the majority of the population here. i didn’t mean to insult anyone other than those types of people i mentioned in my comment, and i’m sorry for any misleading terms, but I’m merely stating the reality of my country, and any other 3rd world countries as well.

@@jesussawthat4613 Oh Filipinos are hospitable. It came from our ancestors even before the Spaniards settled in. Their lands were once centers of trade and commerce amongst the Chinese, Japanese, Indians, Polynesians, etc. Naturally, our ancestors grew fond with visitors, and this trait has been passed down from generation to generation even after Spain’s 300-year rule ended. There are just some people here who take advantage of this trait for their own benefit.
