Yep! For the next break team, RM can be replaced by either Asta or Pela with Pela giving the higher dmg ceiling VS Asta. Just need to time when to ult. But knowing lily, u know it's an easy feat.

Nice showcase! You're the break expert, so I actually have a quick question. What do you think about the longevity of Boothill, or any break units in particular? If the break damage on enemies scales with toughness, and not HP, won't they have a hard time as enemy health increases? This is worrying me as Boothill is my favorite unit in the game

Considering his damage output, I'd say Boothill in particular is very safe. It is not the HP that worries me, but the increase of toughness. Higher toughness = longer time to break. Once an enemy with 20+ Break Unit toughness appear, all break characters have a hard time dealing with them because they can't break quickly.

I think that’s the risk with niche teams. If we get an enemy that can clear debuffs quickly, any nihility team basically gone. Same with break, if there’s enemies who can lock their toughness bar like sam, etc. They’re dead. In cases like these it would take a whole lot more cycles to clear, they’re still viable, but either need super speed builds to counter their weaknesses or need other supports that can help alleviate that weakness.

Considering that these teams play around core mechanics that have already been applied, like toughness locking, debuff removal, they are more susceptable to indirect nerfs. And will probably need new supports to counter those weaknesses. Maybe a nihility support that has an ult like black swan which prevents debuff clearing on enemies and you need to time it on the turn enemies clear their debuff, or a support that can give break damage without needing enemies to be broken, etc.

The game is currently pushing break into meta, which is really good. They weren't as effective in the past, but now they are among the best teams. From the leaks, it looks like they might be pushing hp meta next which means my boy blade will be getting more attention. I really love how they are trying to give us different team archetypes to make the game fresh .and every team will have an advantage and disadvantage against certain enemies, such ass using break team against enemies that lock there weakness bar or using characters that don't use sp like blade vs sam ,but since break is part of the core mechanics of the game, it will be hard to remove break teams out of relevancy unless they do it on purpose for example like adding enemies that don't have weakness bars or that have higher toughness but since boothill and maybe every new break dps 5* has high toughness damage they might take longer to break but the damage will be higher.

I hv hard time with Boothill.. I can only get 4 cycle using RM and HMC. But I can't with Bronya and RM. I don't know why but my Boothill dmg seems pretty low. His stats: 161 spd and 220 BE. Can only do 100k-ish dmg, max 150k. Do you hv any suggestion? My BH and RM both using 4* LC (F2P)

You're not gonna reach 700k damage using the team comp Lily is using in the video. You need more DEF shred, which Pela and 4pc quantum/4pc new break set does have. Also, the damage scales off enemy toughness. It's easier to reach those numbers against Argenti and Aventurine boss that has higher toughness bar.

Tbf, 90% of the leak showcases took place in the new 2.3 moc which gives more favourable buff. But are u sure the showcases u saw weren’t E2S1+ showcases tho?? And yea also some dishonest uploaders may manipulate stuff in the priv server. But they do that for every leak character not just Boothill
