Also some of my replies to other people aren't showing up ) Do you have any idea why this is happening? Is it just a weird KZbin thing? I love your channel, it was you who got me into BG3 and your community are lovely. Whenever I have left a comment I get nothing but positivity back it is really nice so thank you xxx

I wasn't allowed friends growing up. I grew up in woodland where my parents ran a home for disabled adults (and no not because they were kind!). I had 3 brothers who hated having a sister and when told to take me with them would leave me in the middle of the woods. By the time I was six years old I knew every inch of those woods, I could name almost every tree, plant and bird. I loved being there. I would go on make believe adventures with The Famous Five building dens and pretend rafts etc. When I became a teenager I finally started to try to make friends but was so socially awkward that I just made a prat of myself. In an effort to fit in I became a terrible flirt. Now that I am in my sixties I have reverted to that lonely, socially awkward child going on pretend adventures through video games and books. Do not feel sorry for me! I am more comfortable in myself now than I have been for years. It would be nice to have a friend though, someone to play multiplayer games with!! xxx

This game makes me feel so old. I remember when the towers fell - I was visiting my mum and doing laundry at her house (my then husband and I didn't have a washer or dryer yet). I walked out of the bathroom when my mum called to me and we just stood in the middle of the livingroom, watching the TV, jaws on the floor and hearts in pieces. Will never forget that morning. I also remember when unlimited texting plans became a thing! It seemed so extravagant and exciting! 😂 And then slide out QWERTY keyboards became a thing. Oh man... memories. What's even more weird, this game takes place right around where I grew up (Detroit), and I used to travel up north a lot too. Visited Frankenmuth countless times as well. Freaky. This was so nostalgic. Thank you. (Also, as for imaginary friends - I've considered that movie, Imaginary. Thank you for the brief review; I'll forgo watching it. However, I absolutely *have* to see I.F. with Ryan Reynolds!)

Interesting game. I just wanted to speak about famous people, my great Aunt was a famous model. She lives in LA right now. I call her great aunt but she's pretty young lol. Her son is in his 40's and living in Calgary Canada with his family. I understand why the mom doesn't want to rely on her sister. It's difficult to receive help when you've always been the strong one. It's also difficult when those who are supposed to love you, use your vulnerability against you. I get why the mom feels the way she does about relying on others. When people constantly let you down and disappoint you, it's difficult to really put your faith in anyone. It's much easier to keep people at arms length, not healthy, but easier.
@Tiphuhnee9 ай бұрын
I really liked this game. The focus of this game is about the mother and daughter’s relationship with each other. It’s kind of about figuring out who the mom’s real dad is but the main focus is about their relationship. I know you said you didn’t like all of the back and forth dialogue that was going on. But that was happening to further develop the mother and daughter’s relationship. I think playing it with that understanding makes it more enjoyable. But if you’re just here for the discovery aspect of it I can see why you enjoyed it less.

Reno is in Nevada, the same state as Las Vegas. Also, if you like skates, you should come to the states. We have Sonic. It’s fast food, but it’s a drive in and the waiters/waitresses are on skates. FYI, Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol. So Grandma had prescription-strength pain reliever, basically. Fluoxetine is Prozac, an antidepressant. One more thing: The magazine at 31:33 is named Felicity. Keri Russell, the actress who voiced Opal, starred on a show called Felicity. Little Easter Egg there.

@boredutopia9 ай бұрын
it dependes wich part of the 90ties, war in my country begun in 1991 and ended in 1995.. so when we reffer to war we always say war was 30 and something years ago (33 coz no ones reffers to a war the year it ended, but the year it started), same is with the 90ties, they started at 1990, 34 years ago, so the 90ties were 30 plus years ago.. 95 is like mid 90ties, 97 to 99 are late 90ties, 1990 to 1994 are early 90ties.. for exampel, kid born in 1993 is younger than 33 year , but if they say they were born in the 90ties, even saying exact year, everyone older who survived the war considers them a kid born 30 plus years ago... everyone born before certain time do not count the time same as someone born in those times, coz for us it is distant, ancient history, for someone born in that time counting years and celebrating birthdays till they are 32,33 is something important. i was born in 1982 and for anyone born in 60ties and 70ties during early to mid 2000ties i was just kid born 30 years ago, and i was 18 in 200., in 2010 i was only 28 and still for them i was a kid born 30 plus years ago. it is a perception thing..

The way Grandma’s Canada Man talks about Leo’s (grandma’s dead husband’s) money and how they had a plan - a part of which was her HUSBAND DYING and then running away to CANADA… sounds like that little trip was funded by the life insurance. It also sounds like they were having an affair looong before good ol’ Leo kicked the bucket. Also, sounds like he was the secret biological father of Opal and August. All that could be enough of a motive… then, Leo had a heart attack right then?? Seems a bit convenient for a coincidence, doesn’t it? He might’ve also been a bootlegger but the timing for that was a little bit off. He’d have been a child in the 1920’s during the Prohibition era. He would have been just old enough to fight in WW2… right? Unless he was a teenager or a very young adult. Young to be a bootlegger but, I guess it’s plausible if he was a little older than Grandma. She was about 80 when she died, according to the photo of her 80th birthday - it looked like Tess, our main character was about the same age as 2003. So, was that a very long before 2003? I don’t know. What did her obituary say, that little memorial paper with Grandma’s picture on it from the funeral service that we saw in Tess’s room? Btw: her mom is on Prozac. That’s the bottle Tess found in the motel room of fluoxetine - the drug name and Prozac is the brand name for it. Also, the pills in grandma’s room just seemed to be seem to be acetaminophen (Tylenol and Paracetamol are brand names it’s marketed under) but I couldn’t really see the label so I’m just interpreting the way you tried to say it, so might be wrong on that one 🤷🏼♀️ I’m two hours into the video rn so I might be wrong. That reminds me - the video tapes in Tess’s room - you should definitely watch Clue with Tim Curry! It’s SO GOOD! Yes, it’s based on the board game but it’s done exceptionally well. Very very camp!
