The blue oil painting part which you find striking is likely inspired from Van Gogh's painting 'Starry Night', which is very apt in this case!

A lot of her designs reference other characters of the Foreigner class, the cat pattern is Abigail Williams, the blue vine linel things are Tang Guifei, the Starry night is Van Gogh, the Sakura is BB Pele, and the European sowrd is for Jacques de Molay

Mine has the clothes part's peg protruding roughly 3mm from her right thigh but I guess I'll have to make do with that else I will risk breaking the red pouch. As for quality control, might just be my bad luck but I had to request for exchange 2 times. First one came with noticably big scratches on several parts and AmiAmi exchanged a whole new box for me, but unfortunately the latter had even bigger issues: HUGE paint blobs on the clothes part, visible smudges elsewhere. I had to contact GSC directly on this one and after 2 weeks, things are now flawless. Overall details, especially the paint job on the clothes part are nothing short of amazing but then that makes manufacturing and QC quite challenging I guess.

Yes, similar to my experience on the peg by her left leg but finally i figured out how to get it in. And, wow that is quite a contrast from my experience with the paint work. At least Good Smile's customer service is great. I wish every figure brands are like that

Same problem here with the peg showing a bit. I was about to take it apart and insert the thigh one first at a slightly different angle, but changed my mind. I'm leaving it alone cause it's too scary lol

Great review man! I can't wait to get her, she'd probably be here in more 2 months... AmiAmi took 1 whole month to ship her via regular surface, so that's 1 month + 3 months travel 😭

Hardest part put kimono on and the father I didn’t put too much force on it because worried about Breaking her 😢

I think pushing the peg on her left leg in first, then only the one on her back will make it a bit easier. Initially i pushed the peg on the back in first, and had trouble. So, as you saw in my unboxing, i took out the part again and changed the sequence and it got easier.

I may have overpaid quite a bit for this figurine (14000 PHP / 36k JPY) but fuck it, it's pretty nice, and replaces my Amakuni Astaroth as my central piece...I did find getting the angle right tricky..there's still a tiny bit of peg showing but at this point, I'm happy with how it looks.

Well, if you paid the full official price tag for the figure (which is around 31k or 32k if i remembered correctly) and shipping will cost at additional 4k, then 36k actually makes sense. Just that you can find her heavily discounted easily. Sounds like your experience in assembling the figure is similar to mine.
