You are SO good at doing power loops and split-s moves just over trees. I am struggling so much with that! It feels very scary. You should make a video on how you do this, including how you tune your drones to make these moves look so easy.
@Rimzler10 ай бұрын
Thank you so much! I am fine but not the best, all it takes is practice practice practice! You can train on a simulator and get the feel for moves, then grab a crash resistant but good flying quad and go train in a safe place you find around, where maybe there is grass on the ground so you don't smash the drone, but can still recover easy! The limiting factor is how much you "care" about the drone, if you have a few and know it's not risky cause you will not break or lose easily you will push harder and learn better! During reviews I try avoiding risking cause I have to end the video😂 Also because I stuck a drone on top of those high trees and it was a pain to recover ahahahah I will for sure make a video about FPV moves! I usually fly stuff as it comes and adapt to it, not ideal but with all the stuff coming in that's the easier route!

@@Rimzler Thank you. I am comfortable with split-s, inversion, etc. when I am not close to trees. I just get really nervous when trees are close, so I will keep practicing in a simulator and then maybe I will use my Cetus X to practice. I'll have to find two trees that are side by side both in the simulator and in real life to keep practicing, I guess.

This is a solid buy, avion rc drones are lighter than many other competitor so they make a lot of sense, I'm currently reviewing the iKon 3 and 3.5! I personally tend to prefer sub250 with the biggest props possible for freestyle, so they are more efficient when cruising, but still have to be light!

I am conflicted too, I feel like the ymz is heavier than it should be, this one is on spec instead, but quite expensive Ideally a 2.5/3 inch is better, flies more stable and maybe better efficiency In my testing this one is flying amazing so I can recommend it

This is one of the few as tiny as it can get O3 freestyle drones I was looking for. Thanks a lot. If you were to rebuild this from scratch would you also use the JHEMCU GHF405AIO-HD 40A? It seems to be very cheap but I have absolutely no idea of the quality of this flight controller? It ticks a lot of my boxes having relatively high amp Rating and a O3 plug for solderless connection? What do you think?

It's a very cool one for sure! I don't have a long term opinion on this board, seems well made, and the amp rating is plenty for 2.5"! Like the drone is flying great ahahah

Hi. Is there any drone that’s more silent than a mini 3/4?
@Porculus6 ай бұрын
Hey Rimzler! I am close to buying this Ikon 2.5, but I have a couple questions. It looks like the newer props Avionrc are equipping this model with are the Avan Rush 3-bladed 2.5 props, with 1.9 pitch, made by Emax. But the Avan Rush was originally made for smaller motors like the Emax 1106 4500kv for 4S power or the Emax 1106 6000kv on 3S power, according to Emax's website, the makers of the propellers. So, in short, it looks like the 1404 4600kv motors on the Ikon 2.5 can and should power higher pitch 3-bladed props (maybe 2.5 pitch), or at least 4-bladed props with 2 pitch, instead of the fragile ones you tested, with only 1.5 pitch. Have you tried running the Ikon 2.5 with any other props for more power? I'm also considering trying it on 3S, but with a much higher 3 or 3.5 pitch 3-bladed props. Cheers!

Im looking for a sub250 Drone capable of holding a naked goPro, but it should be as small as possible and also as good as possible for indoor flythrough for Clients. What would you suggest?, i’m like deciding for cinelog20/25, the 20 will be able to hold GoPro and be under Sub250 but it’s not that well of a hold because it’s so small. But the 25 is larger and easily able to hold it but hard to get sub250g.
@Rimzler10 ай бұрын
It's a give and take with this new o3 drones, if you want to use a naked gopro only maybe get the older cinelog25 with vista, even make it naked vista, still flies great, cheap and will be sub250 I have a video coming out today complaining about excessive weight of all the 2.5"

Hi bro Thanks, yours videos are the best because you realy fly like we want too not just a boring bench review with poor easy fly. I have an Avata and i put axis flying kit on it but is not enough have you work on your project ?? I wanna change for a New drone but for you what is the best 2 or 2,5 3,5 in term of battery life and fun accro ? I Hope 6min mix fly. I think you should try speedybee 35 ;) I'm with dji like you for radio. I do some dives , power loops with avata 3.5 but i feel it Bad with li ion battery . I'm feeling never confident in term of power recovery with avata and it have lot of tremors when i cut off throttle - fall - throttle again Big tremors . Thanks
@Porculus10 ай бұрын
The Avata certainly has its place as a 3'' cinewhoop with GPS and all the whistles and bells. You can't get a more feature-rich model in its category. That being said, it's not a freestyle machine so you should not expect it to satisfy your freestyle needs as your skills grow, even with the Axis Flying mods. I love my Avata (unmodified), but when I want a proper freestyle session beyond the very decent light-freestyling that the Avata can pull off, I pull out my freestyle machine. Get yourself a freestyle rig and you'll get that freestyle acro adrenaline happy buzz you're looking for. One drone can't be your "everything machine." Well, it can... but you'll have to adjust your expectations in certain flying situations. The bottom line is that flying freestyle with a proper freestyle quad will always blow the doors off a cinewhoop flying freestyle. So many great freestyle drone choices out there at the moment: this new Avionrc Ikon 2.5, Emax Babyhawk O3 (2.5"), GepRC DoMain Series 3.6" and 4.6", Iflight Nazgul series, GepRC Mark V DC HD O3, etc.
@vgrang620110 ай бұрын
@@Porculus ye i'm agree with you but i fly like him not so hard freestyle but when you're flying cinematic sometimes you just want put some freestyle for fun no need a nazgul for this, the major problem with avata is li ion battery when you dive from 120m into rocky mountain is good to have faith in your ability to recovery without danger . I do some Big dive with avata 3.5 without problem but the feeling is not confident. I Ask him his feeling because he love the Avata like us but he have test so much cinewhoop so i think he know what i mean and Hope for next whoop. I don't like the quad without props guard because when i fly some people like to come talk with kids, dog ... props guard are safer for other and i do a lot birds fight or chase too and i love this so much 💕

Thank you so much! I wish I had ripped even more cause it was such a fun quad My Avata kit would be ready, but have to prototype motors and mass produce stuff, now finally the China new year is over and I should begin collaboration with a big brand, hope to have the motor soon! I will look into the speedybee35 thanks! Avata is a LiPo like the regular FPV ones, should have the power but escs are not crazy powerful, also in my build I had to settle for a more relaxed and efficient cinematic flight instead of a full acro ripper, flies like a Explorer lr4 if you experienced it! Sadly DJI doesn't allow to PID tune otherwise could make it better!
@Rimzler10 ай бұрын
I understand now what you need, well a Cinewhoop will never be the best at acro cinematic manouvers, because they are heavier and less agile compared to a regular quad My mod I am making it to make it better for traveling and capturing the landscape, so cover ground, be efficient, fast and safe with all the avata peace of mind, it's a much better acro flier than stock, but has a looser feeling than the axisflying mod, like you can trust it when diving and coasting, can do everything even power loops, but have to add throttle a little before because it doesn't have the greatest stopping power And there is nothing to do because the PID tuning is locked, and if you don't put the right exact motors to match the PID it shakes like crazy
@Porculus10 ай бұрын
@@vgrang6201 Yeah, I hear you. Have you considered the GepRC Cinebot 30? Also a cinewhoop and same size as Avata but wayyyyyyyy better flyer. Pretty sure that one would satisfy you.
