I have Stormchaser with Rapid Hit/Firing Line and it was my best DPS weapon on Warpriest and Oryx, but because this new weapon is void, my Voidlock might appreciate it...A LOT!

Crafted two of them with enhanced perks. One for my solo runs and one with when I'm with friends. Also this liner rifle comes with veist origin perk and Will automatically reload this weapon from reserve's making this weapon top tier for dps imo. Same as reeds regret but now we have a void burn one for free if you count out the materials needed for crafting this weapon.

To be clear, if you have a godroll trials LFR, use that, it's much easier to proc stasis damage boost when a mate pops super with supreme wellmaker. This is for if you are playing alone in any other activity, or you don't have anyone with supreme wellmaker

One thing to note is that Taipan allows you to run a void subclass and still benefit from font of might. Generally mobius quiver, ward of dawn, and nova bomb are preferred over their stasis equivalents. It is more work to get the void elemental well, but you do have a higher potential if you do get it.

Only done duality once, so i will not be grinding Stormchaser for sure, this was the best thing that could arrive. I'm on controller the best barrel is the one with handling? Not range? How about masterwork? Should be handling aswell?

People sleep on Field Prep. The extra reserves + extreme fast reload and stow speed while crouched make this gun far better for total damage and ammo economy than trippletap and Clown cartridge.

While this linear isn’t the best in terms of DPS ( that goes to Cataclysmic or Stormchaser ) it’s good to have one of each element or burns and font of might. This is also one of the best linear for solo/casual play

Stormchaser isnt really better than any other linear since they nerfed it, the one advantage it has atm is that its arc, assuming you want to run an arc subclass

most definitely because it can roll with Firing Line (25% damage increase) or Frenzy (15% damage increase) which does more damage than vorpal on heavy weapons (which is only a 10% damage increase)

I find with stormchaser it's a little inconsistent with precision damage because of the 3 burst recoil unless you got a div or an ogre boss. Taipan is 100% my DPS main now.

It’s not better than storm chaser or cataclysmic, it’s equally as good but it’s void which is what matters. Get one of each gun and you can use font of might and have a top tier dps option being buffed even more, I’ll be using literally whichever matches my subclass the guns are all practically identical in dps output so mods are all that matter now

Bruh, really? Not even gonna mention Focused Fury, but you DO mention Frenzy? Come on, man. Frenzy on boss weapons are not it. Usually there's some kind of pause before the damage phase gets going, and Frenzy tends to run out. Focused Fury is a higher damage bump, AND it's literally only the first two or three shots to activate, then you just keep re-proccing and it never runs out. I like Frenzy on primaries for harder content, but otherwise it's just always too finnicky imo.

Nope. Two adept nightfall is a level. It is much faster than going through all that. Below level 15 it's %60 completion per run. Above 15 slowly works it's way down to %50. Not went above level 20 yet
