I truly believe you need to like the feel and look of the camera you work with. It's a tool, yes, but a deeply personal one. If you don't enjoy the experience of using it, it'll show in your work.

For me personally I prefer tool that I can enjoy it and trust it. And it does not matter is it photo camera screw, hammer even a pencil or something else.

If we are talking about old Fujifilm cameras I whould like to recommend X-H1. It's a the beast camera for their price. Yes, battery life is not good but you can buy it 2 and it's will be enought for whole day shooting.
