Definitely MUST see a video of it driving down the road to hear how much it rattles before I would even considering buying one. No radio on, windows up, just a little talking for a second or 2 every minute to judge sound level on everyday driving. You can always turn the radio up, buy Mud Grapplers, or straight pipe your exhaust to cover up annoying sounds, but then you can't drive around chatting with someone without listening to it.

I’ve been curious about these things and always wanted to see somebody put one in so I appreciate this video. It’s not for me personally, mostly because of the price, but it doesn’t look bad at all really. For me to think about this, it’d probably have to actually be cheaper than a regular dash replacement. I understand why they’re expensive tho, I’m sure it was a ton of work and R&D to make them.

I like that it is aluminum and if you wanted to add accessories like brake controller and phone holder and stream light you can put them wherever. Then wondering if getting the dash mat would make it look a little better and maybe quieter? I really like them matte black is really sweet

LMC sells a dash kit for about $400 bucks, better plastic and UV protection than stock, and looks OEM. For some cheap CNC and bent metal the price tag on this is ridiculous.

I might would pay 800 but there are stock replacement dashes with better plastics than OE for far less. Oh and how bad is the rattle? LRB should have included thin rubber or foam (considering price) to where metals touch or rub, I could see this thing getting annoying quick if it does rattle, and one would assume it will.

Now I’d like to see you buy & install one of the full plastic replacement dashes that that one guy is making so you can compare the two options. I think they’re actually cheaper than these aluminum ones are and supposedly they’re made with better quality plastic than the oem stuff was so they should be stronger and last longer. Personally that’s probly the route I’ll go if/when the need arises but these are a cool option too.

​@@timhenry8200 look up DRT parts replacement dash. Then also for the dash top and instrument bezel, LMC truck has full OEM replacement panels, just made of ABS plastic that actually has UV resistance.

You would be surprised. I had the lrb door panels and rear seat delete in my sc300 wich was abused offroad and they didn't tattle at all. I did take a few extra steps to try and prevent it during the install but I was still expecting rattling and I got none

Good luck finding anything cheaper. Recently people have made the dashes out of plastic with an original mold but they charge you just the same. Might as well go aluminum if you do want to replace it

Pay $1900 for something that will probably rattle driving down the road, dent easily, and probably is made from recycled pop cans. There is no way that I would pay that much money for something made so cheap! If it was affordable, I would think that you would have to add a lot of felt for cushioning behind almost every bolt and every seam to keep it from rattling. The only nice thing that I see about this dash is easy access to the heater core. Other than that, I really don't see it worth nowhere near what their selling price is! I hope that someone else comes up with a much better design than this that doesn't look so cheaply made without the outrageously greedy price!
