Almost noone has a million dollar line of credit that works for online purchases. These credit lines are highly regulated; we’re talking about something that can’t be accessed unless you’re holding the card or in the bank it was opened under. You can’t just enter bank details and pull from the line. You need to submit direct account transfer documents to do a million most of the time. Unless you’re some silicon valley goober; those guys have really cool accounts that work for really large online purchases.

Even if someone put's up a game for $100k jokingly but a madman buys and refunds it, most likely would send the dev into debt. I must fact check that though, if it was false information then you're 100% right about It not being able to hurt someone.

@@fichko8513 not true, refunds are simply never dispersed to your account, the ONLY case in which you'd have to repay is if late refunds (more than 30 days after purchase) have to occur for some reason and you've already transferred payment to your bank account, and your game is no longer making sales that can make up for the amount. Even then that's not "out of pocket", that's just giving the money back you were paid as a refund. (and >30 day refunds have to have good reason, steam only allows refunds after 14 days in exceptional, usually developer-ok'd cases such as completely dropping a platform from support, turning off servers, etc.)

I played Spooky Men in my childhood. It was the most experience in my entire life. In fact, I am proud to say I cannot wait for the price to be raised even more, as the game is so very that it deserves it. We need more games like Spooky Men. Truly one of the games ever.
