Sasori is the most consistent Puppet user just for the puppet being just one and not a giant hitbox lol And for the range options on the jutsu and ultimate. And imo the best advantage of a puppet user is that they win every chakra dash clash because the user doesn't get the stager and can instantly comand a grab. And idk the mechanics in this game, but in the others you could put the puppet a little behind you and do the dash jump and you could get 2 stagers or possibly two subs lol

Yo, for characters that like to spam their physical jutsus (your Narutos, your Edo Minatos, your _alive_ Minatos, etc etc) give Edo Madara a try. His main jutsu just goes "nah this is my jutsu now" and will knock them *out of their jutsu*. Even iFramed ones. You become armored so fast that you can actually do it on reaction with most jutsu. He will yoink Edo Minato out of the air, and knock him down to the ground. And the best part? You can get a free combo out of it. You have enough time to just walk up and hit them for it. There's genuinely nothing funnier than starting a match off against an Edo minato, who immediately goes for the Flying Raijin rasengan, only to get split in two by a susano'o, because they IMMEDIATELY go "MY TECHNIQUE ISN'T WORKING WHAT DO I DO?!?! UHH I'LL SPAM DASHES AND COMBO THEM" and of course they have no hands because they _need_ their rasengans to scrap. You might not be fast enough to punish a substitution rasengan but you can definitely just bait their subs until they run out.

Nah if you choose puppets you main puppets that's not something you casually *pick up*. If you go back to any other character it just doesn't feel right. Belive me, I tried to main kankuro when the learning curve steeped I went back and got my stuff rocked. Using someone as simple as naurto if you see someone who uses puppets know they are built different or they are just using it as support no in betweens.

It'd be nice if they added more of the characters from the show. I believe theres another puppet user thats a gothic lolita with a bunny puppet. Denki in his Mech suit would be fun. Tsubasa the Samurai and Wasabi would have been cool additions as well.

Puppets are broken tbh . It does take a level of understanding to use one but they have a weird bug , they stun you like hell , its called button lock and chiyo has always had it . Plus her shuriken are good and her awakening? just pray to god that you survive and they choke 😭😭

I usually use itschi’s crow jutsu , its a puppet killer lol but when you are fighting a truly skilled puppet user then they know how to Cover up puppet’s weaknesses like multi hit jutsus and Shuriken spam . Honestly never used any ranged or puppet users in the other games but this game i've taken up both Shino and Kankuro and I was able to get Shino's Ult off my next goal is to get all of Kankuro's Ults off I can confirm it gets ugly fast if you don't protect yourself but it looks and feels so cool when I do stuff rightnwith Puppet and ranged users lol

If this is the last storm game, then at least add a DLC once boruto is over so we can experience that story and also play with the characters. You don’t even have to make it that long, but if they do make one more game, then it should be boruto’s entire story. Once the anime ends we can go from beginning to end just like they did with Naruto and shippuden. That may be asking for to much though, But it would be a very nice gesture.

That last dude was really good, utilizing all the game's mechanics, he knew his stuff. He was just over performing for no reason, he probably knew who you were and was trying to show his ass but he got bit for it. He cancelled Sasuke's combo into a Hinata switch to combo into get jutsu when he absolutely didn't have to do that. If he kept it simple, he would've won but foresight is 20/20.
