Have you seen the recordings? It's gruesome and heartbreaking. He tries to stop the car but a long cartoonish screech and clouds come from his feet as he plants them down. He then looks directly to the camera, adjusts his collar and takes a big gulp. All that remained from that fiery explosion were two eyeballs that occasionally blinked before the camera fizzled out and the recording stopped with some "wah wah waahhh" sounding violin coming from the ether

Jack should have a cameo in Smiling Friends as some kind of relative to Mr. Boss, maybe his (illegitimate?) failson who wants to prove himself to his father by either becoming a Smiling Friend and just bribing the clients, or investing in businesses which always seem to horrifically fail. Or perhaps he's escaped a European boarding school that he's been forced to go to for the past 20 years which we find out about towards the end of an episode where the Smiling Friends keep mysteriously disappearing when they leave to meet new clients.
