The remote that came w/ my system controls the RGB lighting to just about any configuration you can think of. The R on the branded liquid cooling unit is not controlled by the RGB lighting. The case looks great, the cable management is exactly like in your video, the water cooling tubes at the bottom, pretty much, exactly like your own build. I have the 32gb of RAM tho. Just received my Redux PC. It took 7.5 weeks to arrive. During this time, they provided little-to-no updates. My order was "Pending" until one day it was "Shipped." Shipping was pretty fast - 4 days for cheapest shipping option. They charged me $832 for an RTX 3070 (this seems a little shady given their claim of MSRP prices). The unit arrived without noticeable damage. Unlike Linus's version, they installed the water cooler oriented upwards, and you can indeed hear the bubbles sloshing inside occasionally - otherwise it's very quiet compared to my old PC. One memory stick seems to be questionable - it often stalls on DRAM during BIOS. One fan is not spinning and I seem to have trouble getting it to boot up after it's been powered off all night. Once it's up and running, it runs nice and gets 90 FPS on Ultra settings on Witcher 3 on 2560x1440 resolution. I'm kinda miffed about the price of the RTX card, but assuming they can help fix the fan, memory, and boot issues, overall I'm not unhappy with the purchase.

Everything looks great but I'd have to think that the system sent to you & any other "influencers" probably get a 2nd or 3rd look-over to make sure all is done proper whereas the regular customer may not. Nevertheless, it looked great & worth checking out especially since I've been considering a new desktop anyways.

@@TommyDavidVerbal I wavered HARD on my choice between NZXT and Redux, but the decision I made was base on money, and options. NZXT at the time only offered one type of card upgrade and that was the 3090. I didn't want that. And they also didn't offer a 3060 either at the time. I'm not trying to play in 4k, so I really didn't see the value in picking them for the available build options they had. I went thru the same mental negotiation with Maingear, Origin, ROG, and even buying parts individual and building it. Price, and availability, as well as build quality, was my end reason.

I've ordered a PC from Redux Gaming (based in the Netherlands, so probably part of the EU branch of Redux?) back in June 2020 and can confirm that the spces and build quality is absolutely solid. Mine was shipped with a Ryzen 5 series CPU that wouldn't boot during first boot and with some help from the Redux helpdesk we concluded the CPU might have gotten a bit lose from the socket during transit. Reseated it and the system booted fine. Still running it to this day. Cable management was as neat as in this video, so that must be a company standard. Only downside I can think of for this company and concept (at least in EU) is that you don't have that many options to upgrade a pre-selected device (storage, mem and usually a wifi adapter, that's it). So less customisation compared to their US/CAN branch.

Ordered on late November and I'm still waiting too. They've changed the ship date 4 times. Just passed 6 weeks this past Thursday.
I ordered my PC from Redux on Nov 24 2020, and nearly 2 months later the PC still has not arrived. Order #1431, it looks like orders up to around 1400 recently received their PCs after 2 months of waiting, from what I see on customer comments from their social media. What a disappointment this has been, I was hoping to have my PC by the Christmas holiday and now it still hasn't arrived, and after an initial email pushing the delivery date out to late December, I haven't heard anything further from Redux Support.
@PMokMR23 жыл бұрын
Update: Literally a day later after I posted the above, my PC arrived by FedEx! So for me it took about 7 weeks to arrive after placing my order. I had emailed them about a week before, asking for an update and never got a response, but then the box arrived. In fact I didn't get a tracking number or shipping notification email from Redux until after the package had arrived. I think they are just swamped and working to get the PCs built and shipped as fast as they can, but they are falling behind on the communications end. Rest assured though, the PC was exactly as promised (and as shown in the video) and works very well. I was not thrilled with the wait and the poor communications, but in the end they delivered and I am very happy with the PC. My advice to Redux: be honest and clear with your communications, and keep your customers informed. Letting your customers know an order is delayed is far less anxiety-inducing than leaving them in the dark wondering if their $1000-2000 has been stolen and they've been scammed. I'm happy to say this is NOT a scam, it's just an unfortunate situation of delayed production and delivery and lack of communication, but they do eventually deliver a great product. I know it's rough, starting out a new venture in a pandemic and dealing with shortages and setbacks. But in the end it is not the stumbles, but how you respond and react to those challenges, that people judge you by. I wish Redux good luck in building a stronger process through all of this, and hope the rest of you get your orders soon too.

I repair/build computers for a living and I've got to say that for $75 it's very unlikely that you'll be getting a PC that looks as clean and well-built as this one does. $75 to build it means that to make any money off of this machine you're basically just doing a PC build speedrun and hoping the system boots when the customer receives it. Where I work, we would charge probably 2-3 hours of time to build a machine and install Windows+drivers etc, and that run you about $250-370 just for us to build it. But again we've got time to QC the machine since we're installing Windows, the drivers, and programs on the machine from scratch, rather than just using one image that the put onto all the SSD's that go into the machines. And the warranty? Again, for DS to make any money the warranty will basically be useless unless whatever's wrong with the machine is legitimately their fault. If you break it, you're going to pay for it. This kind of a profit margin would be doable from a Dell or an HP due to the sheer volume that they're shipping, plus the fact that they use some generic/OEM only parts, in addition to being assembled in China. But Digial Storm is a relatively small boutique builder and seems to be building these in the US, so I'm really sketched out about these machines.
@ILoveTinfoilHats2 жыл бұрын
You think they actually make $75? They buy parts at wholesale cost and then "sell" them to you above MSRP. They're doing none of the work and taking a large chunk of the money. Just look at that motherboard and what they claim it's worth.
