I love this episode! You have such a beautiful family Crista, and it is truly inspiring to see how your family carries on traditions. I just love the beautiful bonds you share with each of your nephews and niece. This episode shows just how much love your family has for one another. I don’t get the chance to have dinner with my kids every night, but I definitely want to start this tradition of asking about the good and not so good parts of their days. Thank you!!

I love this! We have always shared our three daughters birth stories. They all love hearing "their" story. I like the idea of doing this at the birthday celebration! We also did "your favorite part of the day" at dinner each night while the girls were growing up. If they were ornery or sullen and "didn't have a favorite part of the day!!", then they had to tell what the worst thing that happened that day. This usually clued us in on why they were not themselves. I notice my girls now doing this with their own children.
