Hold on, wasn't there a conspiracy that this couple was fully aware of the lies and went onto the show knowing what would get exposed? I think Scott Cramer may have did a video about them! Because the husband was super underwhelmed by the 'bombshells' she kept dropping, but only had a major reaction when she ended up having a lie.

Not just a conspiracy, they did an interview back in 2008 where they said they had already been having marriage issues and that he knew about her affair. The issue is that polygraph tests are not always accurate, they can have false readings all of the time. So even if someone is being truthful, they could have it say they lied. Also they clearly do a ton of interviews and digging into their past to make them look as bad as possible and this was in the early 2000s so people were EXTRA weird about some of the topics that are like, nonissues now

Can I say how refreshing it is to see someone with an Adam & Eve sponsorship who isn't afraid to actually say what it is, that they sell sex toys? So many people skirt around it, not wanting to say sex or toy. If you're too uncomfortable to actually talk about the product then why take the sponsorship? Some of them may be worried about monetisation for the video if they say it's about sex toys but, again, why take the sponsorship? I have seen two KZbinrs now who have done an Adam & Eve sponsorship where I would not have had a clue what the actual store or product was if I didn't already know. If you can't bring yourself to say adult toy, leaving out the word sex, but still making it clear what you're talking about then I don't understand why you would do it in the first place. I am also unsure why the company would be okay with those ad spots that don't do a good job of representing the product while also making it seem like the product is shameful in some way. So well done on actually advertising the product and acknowledging that people have sex and that they sometimes use toys.

I think it's less of a shame thing and more of the fact that youtube censorship is very tough and go. Going 'fuck' sometimes gets you censored but some channels just show dick no hesitation. In general you get away with shit if you don't phrase it directly and I think that's why most channels use innuendo. It's not anymore of a risk then normal commentary jokes as long as they don't as things directly so they take the sponsor.

The sister's reason for hitting the button is that she thought that no one wanted to hear the answer after the hubby just said that he wanted to hear the answer. Tell everyone that you know that the answer is yes without telling everyone. I think she knew that her sister still likes that ex. The button pushing should be voided when any person in the group says I want to hear the answer. Especially when it's a husband and wife marriage or partner related question and the spouse/partner wants to hear the answer. The other people can be just there to save the spouse/partner from saying the answer that will reck their relationship. Though is it really gonna help? The question was asked and put into the spouse/partner's mind. They're gonna want to hear the answer at some point since they wanted to hear it anyway. later is gonna make it worse.

Technically speaking, that final answer could’ve easily been a false negative. The machine measures physiological responses/variations in correlation with when the contestant answers a question. When she’s asked “do you think you’re a good person?” After the questions she had just answered in front of a live audience, she may have began to experience anxiety about what the people in the audience were thinking about her and how no matter what she says in response to that question, some people are going to likely tell her what they think. TL;DR: The anxiety from the question “do you think you’re a good person ?” would’ve appeared on a polygraph’s data as varying from baseline. This could be false negative or indications of deceit which may not be accurate. She also could be lying, but with a question like that, timed like that, no way to tell.
@SpydersByte
@SpydersByte 2 жыл бұрын
I'm not 100% sure here, cuz I dont know indepth information about this show, but I'm like 99% positive that they are asked these questions (or at least very similar questions) in advance while taking a polygraph. They aren't told what the actual results were until they are asked on the show and I'm sure that they're asked far more questions in the initial tests, so they dont necessarily know which ones theyll be asked on the show. There's no doubt that she knew the general stuff that was going to come up but they're definitely not just taking the poly live on stage, the clue would be the fact that they're not hooked up to all the monitoring devices that a polygraph requires like the pulse oximeter, the chest strap, the pressure sensors in the seat, ect.

I mean, they asked if she thought she was a good person. If she thinks she is a good person, even is she isn't, the answer should the true. Because it is what she thinks she is, not what she actually is. I lot of bad people would say "yes I am a good person" and a lie detector would say true, because they are not lying, they truly think they are good. So yeah, I call bullshit on this, unless she doesn't really think she is good, then why would she lie about that and lose the money

Ngl some of the worst people I've ever worked with was in a hair salon lol. Like legit terrible. One boss asked me if I could get him cocaine. One boss came in hung over, cut a woman's hair TOTALLY uneven, and just curled it so she couldn't see it! She left and he told me and my jaw dropped and he was like, "Meh, she won't notice until she washes her hair, I'll fix it for free, book her any time she wants" (I was reception obvs lol). The boss who gave the fucked up haircut would pressure me constantly to do a "private photo shoot" with him (he did do photography and the photos of hairstyles in the salon were by him) but he wanted to cut my nearly 30" hair off, and he wanted me to "just wear a breastplate" (I'm Indigenous)... He kept offering me more and more money, it got to like $1500 to do it, and I was SO freaked out because I was still in high school and MAYBE I was 18. The stylists would come up to me all the time and ask for their bookings to plan their day, and they'd come up during the day to ask when their lunch could be or when they could leave etc. Many, many times they'd come up, ask for their next appointment, I'd say it's so-and-so, they'd say, "Omg I fucking hate that bitch she never shuts the fuck up about her degenerate loser grandson!" And then so-and-so would walk through the door and they'd screech and exclaim excitedly, "Omg it's been SO long!! How's your grandson??" Genuinely. Worst people. Ever. Lol. Like just shitty people.

@jademoon7938
@jademoon7938 2 жыл бұрын
@@nobodycares4321 No, that sounds like _the inner monologue_ of regular people. That's definitely not what regular people talk about at work. I've also worked in retail, food and beverage, warehouses, several government agencies, and independent contract work, never have I had any experience like that hair salon, people aren't like that around other people at work. Persons, sure, like a guy who thought it was hilarious to hold the huge pepper grinders in restaurants against his groin and ram it into female employees and took the virginity of a girl at work (yes she was 18+) and told everyone. He got fired. I've had shitty bosses and hated people I work with, but I've never been anywhere where the actual culture of the entire business was like that. We aren't talking about what you say with friends at home. This is a business. To run an entire business like that shows you're a terrible person, same with treating your customers like that, and your new employees. Like it's normal to ask the new high school student you hired at your business for cocaine? No. I'm not even against cocaine it's just a fucked up thing to do. Idk if that's normal to you, I'm sorry, you should move on to better things.
@SpydersByte
@SpydersByte 2 жыл бұрын
@@jademoon7938 Im sorry but when you're doing the scheduling why is it weird for the employees to come to you to plan their day or ask when their lunch could be?!? Also the thing about "the bitch that never shuts up" seems pretty normal to me when coming from a hairdresser. There are way too many people who treat their hairdressers like their therapist. Actually just saw Big Ed doing that exact thing in one of Leo's previous videos. Maybe she was being a bit harsh, but of course she complains behind their back and then acts nice when they come in, or did you expect her to greet the person with "sigh, you again bitch? please shut up about your grandson"? Now, the drunk boss and the cocaine and the bribing for photo shoots, especially if you were in high school at the time, is creepy and terrible, but I agree with the other responder about the rest just being people being people. It's funny you mentioned the shitty stuff at the restaurant, cuz thats where my mind immediately went when thinking about employees asking about drugs, being toxic about customers, and just being very umm.... uninhibited at work. I've worked at multiple restaurants and at every single one the majority of the cooks, bus boys, and waiters smoked weed at the very least, if not other drugs. There were MANY inter-workplace "relationships" and much bitching about horrible customers. I think thats pretty normal for a lot of the customer service industries, it can be a real pain in the ass dealing with the public, especially with the "the customer is always right" policies that are prevalent there. It also doesnt help that they're low-skill jobs that basically anyone can get, no experience required, so theyre going to attract a certain kind of person.

I think that she believes that she is a good person, I mean most of us think we are, but because of all those questions that she was being asked, she started to feel terrible about herself and like she was ruining her family but especially the questions about her relationships, and ESPECIALLY the question just before that one that the ex boyfriend asked when he said “do you think you should have been married to me instead?” And she said yes. Even if she really believed that I’m sure she felt super bad and was thinking that she broke her husbands heart which made her feel like a bad person, so then when she was asked that question she failed because she had a bunch of self doubt that was brought on by all the previous questions.

I can't help but be skeptical of lie-detector tests but I think most people are, and this show isn't meant to be taken super seriously. Sadly, I'm going to anyway haha. The "Do you think you're a good person?" question is SO subjective, I can't help but think that it's "rigged" to say whatever will make the person look bad if they indeed kept a lot of secrets or weren't honest about them. So the test saying "False" makes it seem like it's saying "Nope you're wrong, you're actually a bad person." When really it's saying "No, your answer wasn't truthful and you don't actually think of yourself as a good person." Lie detectors obviously don't pass moral judgement, nor can it detect whether she's a good person or not. All it's testing is whether or not she believes what she's saying. Obviously she's not a fantastic person but that question got me thinking about how the audience will take the answer VS what's actually happening.
