I live down the street from where salmon falls pottery is made in fact my son in law just bought my daughter a bird bath from their store it’s absolutely beautiful! You would love it they have a special room where they sell the seconds for a lot cheaper and most pieces you can’t even find the second on them it’s fantastic!

Hi. We lived in Egypt in the mid 80's for 5 years. While living there took a tour to a mud factory where they made figurines, pitchers and pots and I purchased a few of them. Have never seen them anywhere in the states. Great find.

Hi, the little Arab men that you picked up are wonderful. They come from Cairo, Egypt - the market called Khan - il - Khan - lili. There is no particular maker, the are just sold for approx.30 LE each (£1.50) each.

The footed coffee cups are from Arnaud’s in New Orleans and are used to serve Cafe Brulet Diabolique. You will see those in thrift stores all over down here.

The cups with the "devil" on them or broule cups, pretty specific to New Orleans. I had at least 24 "cups" and saucers. Considered them restaurant ware.

Love the comment, regarding the shell lamp. "Someone would plug it in". Agree, that is why they have the warning on a hair dryer not to take it in the bathtub.

The top shell of the lamp (you did NOT buy! Argh!) was a helmet shell. I have never seen one that big. The bottom shell was a pink (or red) abalone, ground off to show the nacre. You can smooth the edge of a broken shell like that with a Dremel. I think it was epic!

Love the cat poster, I'm sure you could remove it from the frame and sell it online faster. Those were some narrow aisles to navigate with a wonky wheeled cart. That cart has a mate in FL. That shell lamp was a mess and would be quite the project for someone willing to repair it so I'm glad you didn't get it.

Unfortunately they are trending more like $20 currently. I have a bowl I found for sale, but it's not moving. It's the same chef pattern of the pitcher she saw in this video. I thought maybe it was worth that too, but looked up recent comps and they are much lower currently. Maybe the market got saturated.
