I love how quickly you could ADS in older cods even after sprinting. It takes so long to ADS in newer cods and it makes the games so campy. Also the SWAT was one of my favorites, banger of a gun

I agree that the older CoDs had a snappier feel to them, and that they felt a whole lot better in general, but I think the main reason it seems like ADS times are so much slower in the newer cods is largely because everyone is so deathly afraid to kit their gun out to excel in any area that *isn't* recoil control/having a silencer. Like, take MW19 for example -- if you rock a Stipled Grip tape, the ADS speed stock, and leave the vertical foregrips and 60 round mags at home, even the slower assault rifles will feel quick and snappy - and with the smgs it's insanely snappy, like old-CoD-tier snappy. But since the scrubs these days are incapable of running anything that *isn't* - longest barrel - largest mag size - foregrip with the most recoil control Then you end up with guns that feel sluggish and clunky by comparison. The gunsmith is cool and all, but I do miss the days when it was just "Alright buddy you pick your gun and get *one* attachment, *maybe* two if you're weird and run Bling. Stop accessorizing your gun and shoot the damn thing!"

@@kohai-kun9261 Sounds like bad game design to me. I've always felt like the new gen of CoD games has completely forgotten what made the series popular in the first place. Simple and fun gameplay won people over whilst slow and sweaty snoozefests drove them away. SBMM played a huge part in that admittedly but that doesn't excuse Activision ignoring the fanbase telling them SBMM sucks and to get rid of it. They are not reaping what they sow with Vanguard bombing in sales.

Yep thats the problem with the gunsmith. With them giving every gun 60 attachments having the smallest thing cut down ads speed. I knew the gunsmith was a shitty idea from the start. But now its gonna be in every title from here on out which sucks.

The PDW before they nerfed the recoil on it was ungodly. I was getting 100+ kills a game on the nuke town 2025 24/7 playlist with that gun. After the nerf the MSMC became the smg to use. Damn I miss this game and time period

I just have to say BO2 no matter how many years old this game ALWAYS looks so fresh and brand new, something about its dark glossy, sharp image always won me over, the maps the guns, kill streaks everything was so exciting, this has to be near perfect game they designed and sadly i really dont think we will see more of this , theres only 1 lebron, 1 tiger and every decade a game like this….damn i miss this era

BO2 oh man those were the days. My favorite COD ever!! I rocked the SWAT 556 lots until I used a prestige token to permanently unlock the M8A1. The only thing that was missing in your vid was the select fire attachment, the SWAT was beast full auto!! Peace and love ✌️

The GRAU in MW19 is like a modernized full-auto version of the SWAT 556 and I hadn't realized till now. The iron sights are quite different, but u get the point

SWAT w/select fire, and an MP7 secondary from the overkill perk was the most versatile combo… you got an SMG secondary, 3 round burst, and a full auto assault rifle. Favorite class by far The select fire didn’t turn the M8A1 into a full auto assault rifle, therefor imo the SWAT was superior imo

Burst/select fire (single-auto) was best implemented in bo2. I remember the chicom w select fire and it would SHRED at mid range. I actually never checked the swat since I was rocking with be the semis or mtar (since it’s practically one of the best starting ARs unlocked)

I've seen a few people mention it already, and I will as well. Black Ops 2 arguably has the best multi-player balance of all the CoD games. The guns, the perks, the equipment, character movement, map design, killstreaks/score streaks, all of it finely tuned with the pick 10 system where everything was usable, but nothing was so outright superior to everything else. Black Ops 2 isn't my favorite; that's a toss-up MW1&2 and BlOps 1, but I can't deny how this was Call of Duty MP at its greatest height. ps. I ran the SWAT often, and it was 1 of my favorites.

Yo fortunate you know how they have custom control schemes on xbox one? You can set up custom controller binds on pc. I start with tactical controls and use RB to jump, LB to melee, put my face buttons for my grenades and shit. I think I was a bit jaded with the Call of Duty multiplayer when this came out, I recall not liking mode very much in BO2 and raging at quite a bit. Anyway, still glad to see other people really liked this CoDs multiplayer. I did really enjoy the zombies and campaign in BO2 though. Bo1 was peak CoD to me, I liked the multiplayer and I was really into the zombies mode in that one.
