The flame thrower has infinite piercing, your problem was not picking range for it, also as far as i know the cleric and the flamethrower weapons dont crit so its a mistake to build crit on those two heroes ( unless your going for ability damage for the achievements ), also piercing dosent work on the shield skeleton their shield drops by the amount of attacks that hit it so the flamethrower is actually a counter for them, even if u pick 100 piercing upgrades it wont go through them, i hope these tips help you in future runs, love ur vids keep it up

Yeah thats why you want main weapon range. It allows your weapon to go father into the mobs

Flamethrower does crit, but it's only through the leveling skill options. With a 10% ring I get up to 40% chance and 10 attacks per second all i see is red. The best practical skill with the flamethrower are the fire related skills, increased burning and chance of burning, it melts bosses.

It doesn't have infinite piercing, look in the Manu, it has a Standard piercing of 10. So yea, you don't need more Pierce but if you build a lot oft area and range you can use more Pierce on big waves.

the music at 1:40😂 perfect fit for sifd changing his mind on what to pick. I honestly thought that was on purpose. Happened a few times, and this soundeffect should absolutely be mandatory for future videos. It adds so much suspense, no joke. But not everytime, the moment has to be worthy of it, or it will get tiring fast.

Picking Strength IV in a run will give you the Strength Blessing, its under path of the Sword.

Crit is totally worth it for his main weapon because it hits so fast plus the 5% counts towards your abilites ie lightning, ring blades, etc. There is a reason he starts with 0%, with range, attack speed, crit damage, and the infinite pierce (your flamethower already has infinite pierce it's 9999) it gets pretty broken fast. I honestly think duration is bugged I don't ever see it doing anything during runs.

The best way to lv is to let the xp accumulate on the ground where it fuses together into a higher version that increases the amount you receive by a loooooot so the start is to get high base dmg to kill waves standing still then collect the do as the next elite or boss spawns to quickly lv

Its the same amount of xp whether it fuses or not. Its just fused into one instead if many. The fusing is just a game mechanic to prevent too many gems from sitting on the ground and slowing/crashing the game. Basically two small 50xp gems fuse into one large 100xp gem. Same total xp. 1 gem instead of 2.

I believe that the weapon pickups have fixed upgrade paths. it's statistically impossible that you find the crit upgrade 16 times in a row if there was an other option.

Should get the early access version, this is the prelude. In e.a. you can see what upgrades you've chosen and you have a way longer death counter on the main boss, amongst other content.

Defense is super important and almost mandatory on the last stage where death knights hits between 50~70 then when you unlock some items you can easily do the last stage with 200 hp and 0 defense XD

If you get crit% and crit dmg% on ability get it even if you don't have crit % or crit dmg because the ability stat is different from your character stat. Just saying and love your vids

if the burning over time can crit i can see the use for the crit/crit damage + burn chance on the Exterminator. The duration is also not bad with the ammount of debuffs with duration you can apply in this run.

The elven boots are pretty good, the tooltip doesn't tell you but you can raise the 10% cap with movement speed

Your main stat page when you press esc only shows your main weapon. Look at traits and abilities to see Transfixions crit chance/damage. Sometimes taking an ability specific crit upgrade is good. Maaaaybe not in this case but its food for thought.
