I love cooking with Indi curry powder. I tried a different brand and couldn’t wait for it to finish so that I can get back to my Indi. It’s expensive in the US. I buy and bring back when I visited GT. Word of caution…do not pack in your hand luggage.I learned the hard way.

Not everyone in Jamaica adds rum to our sorrel, Tania. Some of us just use ginger while others add pimento, rum etc.

Not all Jamaican sorrel drinks have rum added. Children drink sorrel and no good parent would feed alcohol to children. Sorrel is a misnomer as it is really a variety of hibiscus. It is a very healthy antioxidant drink, especially when made with ginger.

Tania watching this episode I was a little disappointed because it was as if you weren't sure of your products at home. Our bammy is baked also, frying it is a preference. Also when Christopher Columbus came to Jamaica the Tainos were using it. Our Jackass corn is a coconut biscuit. You made that tour guide talk about our product like he knew them but those were only assumptions of the process maybe because he have tasted them before.

Every Caribbean country you visit the tour guide will tell you that they have the best in every thing LOL I am Trinidadian and Trinidad makes rum, but when I look at the ranking for the best rum, I keep seeing Jamaica appleton as the best, but the Guyanese man say that Guyanese rum is the best LOLhahahahahahaha I enjoy how these tour guide make up stories to make it seem like their country is the best in everything LOL
