I think it’s the world wide problem nowadays, sometimes scrolling just to escape from facing oneself, which is really the baddest, scrolling habit maybe the worst habit I have ever faced, because I know it’s wasting and at the same time I fed up social media but still need it for learning🤦♀️, again.. it’s about taking over our desires. Thank you Austian for the amazing video and for being honest as always, I hope that the questions you mentioned in the video will help me.

You know the thing I like about your video presentation is, it feels like a friend talking to you directly as opposed to someone taking AT you. Excellent work bro!

Thank you so much for breaking this down! First time I've seen a video like this that wasn't just a fluffy explanation without any practical advice. I've got a 3 month old baby so I'm trying hard to wean myself off my phone. I want to protect her attention span and become a good role model against mindless scrolling! I've definitely found it more challenging lately given the sleep deprivation and stress associated with raising a baby 😅 I also started teaching myself piano and writing a diary for the baby. We got rid of our television so I try to listen to the radio instead. Good luck with your journey, and thank you for the advice :)

I needed this video. I’ve caught myself in this loop many times and I haven’t been able to figure it out. I have shrunken my time limits to be more restrictive but I ignore them. I’ve been getting so depressed every day around the same time and I believe this could be why.

this video is spot on! the process of how and why instead of “hacks” is amazing and this is truly useful. channel is wayyyyy underrated and deserves much more attention.

This was a really insightful explanation of our scrolling behaviour, love the dive into the science! I hadn’t heard that before but it makes so much sense. I have definitely noticed I’m excited to sit down to work when I’m tackling a challenging problem and get trapped scrolling on days when it’s rote tasks waiting for me. Thanks for another great video!

How anyone "loves" social media i cannot understand. It was always false and harmful to me and even still it sucked me in SMFH. The inventors and prgrammers should be put in jail
