@@the_eerie_faerie_tales This man just got his first video that got picked up by the youtube algorithm, and has now over 400k vieuws. And his subscriber count got from I think 4-5k to 7-8k Today. So he is growing fast rn. I think he will hit 100k in a short time. And he definitely deserves it!

I clicked on your video about you using that tiny notebook instead of your phone by accident and I don’t think it was an accident anymore. You taught me a lot in two videos I look forward to watching more. Thank you so much for putting this content out it definitely moved me in a way I can’t explain and I will be changing my habits, I’m someone who is hard on myself so it everything you said makes sense and I’m going to be holding myself accountable and changing. I love the way you explain things so concisely I will now watch all your videos and subscribe. You speak with a purpose and if you taught a class in person I would go. If you haven’t already you should write a book, I would buy it. You have the personality and the thought process and communication people need nowadays. I’m beyond grateful I clicked on your video. It put a lot of things into perspective for me so thank you again.

Thank you so much for this comment! You spoke many kind words and it means a lot. I make this content hoping to help others through what I’ve learned so it’s always good to get feedback. I would love to teach a class in person, I think that’d be amazing! I only do teaching on skillshare at the moment, maybe someday I will in person. Writing a book would be fun too… we’ll see :)

Do you happen to have ADHD? I just watched the video of waking up and getting up and at the end I clicked the link to this video. I think you're videos will be very helpful for my ADHD symptom management. Have been taking meds and in therapy for my condition and I honestly believe watching that video (had to watch it 3 times because kept getting distracted) has helped me more than the years of behavior modification therapy and meds and even the hundreds of self help books, workbooks, organizations and seminars! Thanks so much. Am downloading both for future reference. Omg, the caring for others more than myself!!! BOOM!! First time I've EVER heard that tackled! THANK YOU

The things I completed are almost always physically challenging in nature. However my motivation waned after a certain level of accomplishment or progress. Anything for profit or time killing didn’t have follow through. I always admire people who continue to do a thing all their life; be it painting, cycling, or quilt making.

I saw this video on recommended page!! I really like your insight for the commitment device base from the book atomic habits. I like the idea of the pain inducting and pleasure inducing questions as this will answer the "Why's" when you need it the most when you are burning it. I am going to try this as this will help me get more disciplined in a way where its not forced because the whole purpose of doing it has a benefit in the long run.

I like this video a lot. I'd like to recommend The People Code by Taylor Hartman. It's premise is that people are sorted into 4 personality colors and each color has a motivating factor word: Red = Power, Blue = Relationship, White = Peace and Yellow = Fun. There are some hybrids like a Red/Blue personality, but even then the first color is the priority. The idea is that a person's color motivation word is used to enroll them in any action. An example: my friend, a Red, had to do taxes and couldn't find the motivation to do so. Once we discovered the Power in the situation, my friend was able stop procrastinating and finish taxes. (The Power isn't the same for all Reds, each Red would need to find what was powerful in the tax situation for them.)

This just amounts to "raising the stakes thus raising your investment" If you are doing something with little to no actual stakes (I.e working on a creative project that will have little to no reception) I can't see how this would stop you procrastinating
