Love this. My notebooks are like therapy, and quickly become half full of drawings. They are the definition of ‘creation not consumption’

Is there any difference between mental practice and Visualization or is mental practice just a part that's involved in The visualization process ?

Well this comment does not have anything to do with the video But it's kinda crazy and amazing at the same time that smart phones can either destroy someone's life or make someone else to learn something. Lately I have been trying to switch into the mode of using it for benefit, learning new things, experimenting etc. Your vids are helpful man! Gl!

As a dyslexic person I would love to be able to write a notebook but I read way below the average for my age group let alone write

If you don't practice you'll stay exactly where you are. You're choice

I'm one of the dumbest people I know. There are tricks out there school will never teach you about how to learn. Find them, there are always answers and ways to change how you learn

Love this! Wheels are turning on how i can apply these ideas to my sketch habits. I have been calling your generation the backlash generation since my girls were little. I believe this is part of the movement.

"It's the sound and the feeling of the paper" This, it's nice to have something tangible in this technological era. I love tech, I study it and want to have a career in coding or software... But sonetimes having text or images or whatever on for example a Google Drive rather than on something physical like paper just feels empty, y'know? Like I see the words on the screen, but I know it's pixels, 1's and 0's. Just doesn't hit the same, I guess. Vibe check has NOT been passed.

Im trying to convince myself to get used to not have my phone 24h with me. I just hope that a note book will “replace” it

I've recently had a lot of thoughts about basically everything in our phones trying to get our attention and control us (one of the reasons why I deleted Instagram and most other social media), and yesterday I saw a video called something like "the most valuable quality of 21st century", and it talked about *attention.* I've already tried to minimise the things that distract me in my phone, but that wasn't really enough... Now that I found your video, I'll try having a notebook and use it instead of my phone as well. Thank you for sharing the idea!

I was thinking of taking my phone with me but put it somewhere where it's difficult to get out, like my backpack. However, idk yet how I'll receive and respond to messages from important people like my family... ig I'll find out

Agree 100% on your rationalization of carrying a pocket notebook. Like that ninja 300 too, as I have one also. 👍
