Late to the party but I was waiting for my eye surgery at age 25 sharing a room with 7 elderly women who were scheduled for cataract surgery. I didn't even know that rooms for 8 patients exist but there I was at this supposedly modern hospital. My surgery was scheduled for afternoon to evening so I had to fast all day and my problem was, the Golden Girls cranked up the heat from tropical to steam bath and I was the only one sweating like a pig. The nurse had mercy and let me have some water, I downed a whole bottle and then all of a sudden there was a free slot for my surgery and they wheeled me out before I could go pee. So my main concern before going back to the sauna room wasn't that they were cutting away at my eye but not peeing myself right there on the table...

It’s old af itself (like mid-90’s), but there’a another elderly-themed SNL commercial called “Old Glory Insurance” that is straight bananas. It was written by Adam McKay who eventually became head-writer and went on to make all the classic Will Ferrel movies like Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step-Brothers…It’a a banger 😂☺️
