It would be played by everyone. I hate that card, I can't play Valanyr anymore because everyone runs Stickyfinger and Reno, so even IF I can kill the weapon and start the duplication they will just cleanse the board of every deathrattle.

I remember the Questmagecombo with Antonidas and 4 apprentice on board. At this time the questreward took very long to complete. Often the opponent kills you before you can get the reward. But it was also funny and very challenging. You felt so good when you finally pulled of the combo and win the game. Sometimes I miss this state of game.

I have since cut Edwin for Shadow of Demise. You *could* run it without finley but hes important for making use of bad random cards and also makes secret passage better.

Core set/Basic/Classic is different than a card from a set that has a specific time it will rotate, Gadgetzan cant rotate early because it (which in this context is prior to the date it is set to rotate, not mid year) because it has no date where it is scheduled to rotate.

Ngl I did forget those got rotated outside of the normal HoF window, but thats not what was being talked about here. Mind Blast and Vanish were rotated “early” in the same way that any Basic/Classic card were, as they were meant to be in Standard forever. The Odd/Even cards are the only time an expansion card was removed from Standard prior to its sets natural rotation. That also happened at normal HoF time of year, so there really isnt a comparison between them and MB/Vanish.

Lol, yeah this deck isnt going to be getting him to 20/20, those decks are built very specifically to make that happen. In my previous video you can see Edwin doing well as a 6/6-10/10, but I did end up cutting him for Shadow of Demise, which has been okay but doesnt feel distinctly better.

Patches is really good and I wouldnt play without him. I cut Edwin for Shadow of Demise so theres that. Really any decent thief or burn card is a fine enough card for this deck.

I don’t get how people can play this at high wild. I lost about 2k ranks (starting from 2000) tonight trying your version and corbs version. It just feels so bad when the average random wild card is mediocre if not bad and every deck you play against is either uninteractive or hyper aggro. It feels like a worse version of the standard thief rogue tbh.
