This HORRIFIC Guillotine Executed THOUSANDS Of Hitler's Enemies

The Guillotine of Plotzensee Prison saw thousands of people executed on the execution device. Inside of the prison was an execution chamber that became known as 'The House Of The Dead,' as many of Adolf Hitler's enemies would lose their lives inside. The Guillotine or the Fallbeil was a metal device which emerged following the French Revolution and the Germans then modified it.
Inside the execution chamber around 3000 people who were opposed to the Nazis and Hitler would be executed inside using the guillotine or on the hanging beam that was also found there. The fallbeil was developed by executioners to allow executions to be performed in just a matter of seconds, but it was a brutal way of administering Hitler's justice.

Dont forget sophie schoel and her brother. They also were executed by guillotine at the hands of hans freisler known as hitlers executioner. He was the one who condemned those hung by piano strings after they aided valkarie in attempting to kill hitler.

On some of the pictures you can see like a copper troff , like a funny lookin sink. Especially on the smaller metal type ones inside the prisons. I think this was positioned over a drain and used to catch and then channel the blood down and away while the victim bled out. Can imagine , that if the German's made it , it would have been effective and efficient. 🤔😔😕

Unfortunatly, a lot of the pictures used in this Video were not from the Third Reich, but from earlier periodes of time, and some even not from Germany. It would be nice, to mark the pictures with the right source and time.

It still seems so strange that this happened just 70-80yrs ago. I remember hearing they were making sure every generation was being taught about the war & the holocaust, in part due to it's significance / & to prevent it happening again. But it really seems the more time went buy, that happened less. We did WW2 in late primary. Then in history at HS. But the majority was around the war itself, v little on the NAZIS & Holocaust. The majority of knowledge I have is due to places like history channel, or YT channels such as this. Could be way off but wonder if there's a link in the rise of far right extremism across Europe & UK over the last 10-20 yrs. And a decline in being taught about this side of the war. And the screwed up philosophies that led to form all the NAZI ideology. We can't let this just become another era resigned to history books, & taught v little.

Good thinking. Crazy that in this so called modern world, this war ended just eight years before I was born! I studied the US. Civil War in 1965, which ended just 100 years before. It seemed to be hundreds of years before. We all pop in to this time flow for just a short time. I see it can not be prevented. We have seen in the last seven years how a huge part of a population can move or be moved into a direction that can drastically change things, and that’s the direction it will go!

I don’t agree with you that the Nazis “stole” the guillotine from the French. They copied the design and built their own, modified guillotine. The guillotine, BTW, was also adapted in Sweden, where it was only used once, and probably in other countries as well. A device rather like the guillotine had been used in Italy in the Middle Ages, and then there was the ‘Halifax gibbet’ in the North of England. So the guillotine was not a modern invention at all.
