Well if Mega Mime has life steal the amount of damage he will do will heal him too. At least with the tiny Eldegoss there is a chance you can do enough burst damage to take em out.

I’ve been loving Eldegod after this patch. She deserves these buffs. Personally I’ve been split between running Full Green/Black emblems or Full Red, but I find myself auto attacking A LOT so I decided on Full Red with Muscle Band, Shell Bell, and Wise Glasses. I also love how deceptively bulky Eldegoss can be. Cotton Spore+’s Defensive buff and Pollen Puff+’s Damage reduction is super nice

You have discovered the beauty that is Eldegoss + Ninetales. Idk what it is about this combo in particular but my gf and I have been KILLING it with this combo. It's both of our mains, and we've done this combo a lot before the update, but after this update our win rate is like 80% right now. Personally I go with Pollen Puff + Cotton Guard for just full healing, I don't think the damage is good enough personally, but the buffs to the shields and the healing are really good.

I saw the Decidueye and the build I've been using is Exp Share, Muscle Band, Aeos Cookie, I'm using full white and the first stage purple and blue for emblems, and in battle I go Shadow Shackle with an Escape Button, it rocks
