*"We don't like change unless we can control the direction of the change in our life and make it good."* 💁♀️ Especially when she said *"that's why we fear aging"* *OOOOOOOOF GIRL!!* 👏👏👏 I *JUST* turned the big *3-0* last week... and I've never been *MORE PUMPED* even though in my 20's I *FEARED AGING* 😱 And it all makes sense now... During Quarantine, I actually started to follow *"mature woman influencers"* to look up to them as inspiration and started to follow their advice on how to live well. 🎯 I changed my skin routine (or lack thereof) 🎯 I started moving my body more (yes especially during this quarantine time) 🎯 Shifted my mindset on aging. I feel as though I'm *"in control"* like Marissa said.💃💃💃 I know this may sound so silly, but this was such a revelation for me and I'm so grateful I made the shift.🙏

Turn the loss into a gain. Love that! "We dont like change unless we can control the change." "Focus on the good aspects of the loss or change." Hone in on the positives. I have more time to focus on cooking, time to organize my home, paperwork, learn a new skill. "You need to have a bounce back factor." "Talk yourself out of the bad stuff and into the good stuff. "Nobody can take your freedom unless you let them." Best 41 Minutes!!!🙏🏼

I haven't finished watching this but girls, I have extreme hairloss and it comes from acute stress according to my doctor. Many many people have been calling doctors about hairloss because of this pandemic and constant bad news. I didn't realize I was stressed so I just wanted to say please take care of your mental state. It's why I am watching this video. I am trying to build a routine so tips are welcome! I didn't even feel stressed, but the body knows stress and the body always reacts, sooner or later.

Love this! I wrote a poem about procrastination last night before I finished my homework. Instead of a fear of rejection, I'm processing traumas that give me a rebellious response to being told what to write and read. Assigned readings are harder to focus on if they're not something I'd normally choose. Here's the poem:

Because I write, and I've been learning so much already but there's this scene where my character says to a man who is scared of flying but loves rides at theme parks, to try and think he's at the top of a rollercoaster and she gets him to imagine you're going for the ride of your life so that's making a better picture for him to imagine rather than he's scared and hated planes, telling him your excited and you'll enjoy it. I hope this example helps.

It's true we do have time, so when people say they don't have time it's wise to remind them they do have time but it's what they make the time for it could be making time to do morning yoga and stretches or something like that something which you would have to reschedule your time into doing because we all have time for the things that matter to us

I can relate to the CT scan scenario. I was to have an MRI for my shoulder yet I just could NOT allow -- because for some unexpected reason, I had a panic attack. Like, NEVER had before. And the first time I tried to enter the MRI unit, I literally instantly freaked out -- within 2 seconds. I tried a second time by calming myself, and seeing this as "I've been in an MRI before, I'm okay, I can do this..." and I freaked OUT more ferociously. I believe in the power of thoughts -- especially the power of words to impact. Yet, this whole MRI thing is intensely freaky. I managed to have a different MRI for my pelvis because I got to enter the unit feet first and my head was NOT inside the unit. The shoulder MRI requires head first in... and for 25mins laying dead still with a clamp over my shoulder to keep it still... and it created absolute PANIC, so I could not go through with it. I don't have panic attacks. Ever! I have not worked out how to get through that MRI. Power of the mind, indeed. No idea how to overcome this one scaredy-cat fear!! :-)

I'm scared of needles. I never used to be but this one time I had such a bad experience in the doctors chair where I wanted my mom to leave the room because I was going to swear, because the nurse put it in me, wriggled it around said my vein wasn't responding and fucking took it out again and jabbed in another vein and by the time she was done, I had suppressed my temper and after I left I took about less than a minute where I was going to pass out so I had to sit down on a bench up town whilst my mom ran around and doing things in shops and everytime I have to go and have blood taken out because my mom makes me test to see if I haven't developed diabetes I get so nervous, anxious and terrified and I have because of that snapped at nurses do they know what they are doing and I can't help it because the time before was so traumatic whereas before I've watched fascinated seeing my blood fill up tubes and that's wreaked me. About a week ago or two now I was at home sitting down and I'd this awful pain in my chest, I thought it was indigestion because I'd not long had a sausage roll and I really thought it was that and when I called my husband down and he started making a glass of baking soda because it's good if you suffer with indegestion but the side of my face was hurting my jaw line the same time as my chest and because of the symptoms we called 111 an ambulance got called out and to eliminate the chances of it being a heart attack I had to go into hospital via ambulance so as soon as I got there and I'm lying in the bed these nurses after looking after another patient asked me what am I in for and I said chest pains, and immediately they rushed over, it was pretty scary. I was pushed back to the bed and they were going to take my blood and I could have freaked out but in the corner of my mind I imagined my Mom standing right next to me telling me don't look, it's alright, they're nearly done, no need to panic and I could just imagine her in her pink fluffy jumper looking at me and smiling and that vision of her disappeared straight after everything was done and as it turned out I didn't have a heart attack even though they told me at 3 in the morning but not before making a mistake telling me I had angina because they said I had it and I had to stay in over night and then this turned out to be another patients information!!! But I was scared because of the injection and my mind raced to my Mother that she was right beside me. I told this to her after when she said she wished she could have been there for me but she was there, in here ❤️ so immediately my mind went to a more soothing and different experience

@@iknowwhatsup2880 No there is no reason to put people at risk when you can attend your church at home on your computer. If one person was asymptomatic and entered church on a Sunday dozens of people would walk out of there infected and spread that virus to their families. Same goes for small businesses. It doesn't matter if YOU don't care about putting yourself at risk, exposing yourself to others, but having non essential institutions remain open would kill thousands of people. We should've shut down in before March before it got this bad.

@@Jack-nx1si healthy people pose no risk. Lyme disease, flu, abortion, war, etc...kills far more people, yet you are silent.
