I just forwarded this vid to all my struggling golf friends. Brilliant!!!

This is so accurate. Although I think many, including myself a while back, will focus so much on the early release or throw and forget about the body rotation (or skip the rock feel). When it's all synced up I feel the early release /throw appears at impact to post impact. If I hit it to the right, I've held off the release and pull shots I've lacked body rotation.

At impact should the shoulders be square to the ball or more facing the target

Hey Steve. Great tips. I tried this and it really works however I need some advice with it. I am now hitting random shanks, fades and my launch angle has gone up by a few degrees. How can I keep a better low point with this and stop the fades, random shanks?

The face of the club is likely open and not enough forward lean. Throw the sh***s in there and it becomes more difficult to diagnose without seeing it. Feel free to edit a 3 second DTL video and send it to me Steve@hititlonger.com

Hi Steve. Just so you know. I watched a bunch of your vids on the weekend. Took my new method to the game today and bingo! However, a few drives went low trajectory. What might be the cause? BTW the power drill analogy with different bits is very memorable.

You could be playing with too low lofted of a driver. You could be striking the club low on the face. You could be hitting downwards at impact instead of upwards. Investigate these three.

Wonder why Duval never played the seniors tour? Other thing about him was his eye line looking down the fairway at impact, like Sorenstam.

Im tearing up my yard trying for perfectly square divots. So a little left is correct? (Dear God please say yes because those feel the best).

I think telling the average golfer to throw the club from the top is a mistake. Until they can get their body turning properly and early, this move will be detrimental. Most tour pros are starting their turn as their club is still going up, so by the time they start this “casting” move, they’re already square to the ball. IMHO.

Problem is, if you get that same golfer to turn properly and early, they will shank and slice everything.

Not at all what jack said and he even clarified later because everybody misunderstood.

What did Jack say in his clarification? I would really like to know as I cant find anything about the clarification.

Mike Malaska confirms what Steve says: release from the top, not holding the angle - that is a throwing motion
@television3771 Жыл бұрын
@@detlefstronk8912 Not holding is not the same as releasing. I dont care what Malaska says about anything.
