I picked up the stone version and I’m actually quite surprised how much I like it. I agree with you on the black version.

I have the "Tide Blue" version of this case, it definitely is not as bad on fingerprints as the black one (it probably gets just as many, they are just harder to see). I've been using it since launch day and haven't got any visible scuffs yet but I don't expect that to last long, most plastic cases scuff pretty easily.
