Animal farms. Needed stuff: Fences, fence gates, animal foods, (carrots, seeds which you get from tall grass, and wheat which you get from planting seed with a hoe. And possibly other food idk. If your/ you’re scared of animal extinction in the game, you should make an animal farm, find at least 2 animals of the same species, find out what they eat, breed them, (you do so by feeding them both what they eat). And then feed the baby one, which will make them a normal adult in which you can use them for their food or other things if you keep on breeding them and keep them in a fence making sure they don’t get out, you probably won’t have to go searching for animals again. I think that’s all I needed to say.

Hey cory. I dont know if ur going to see this but, I hope u bring this series back because this was one of my favorite series :) u really progressed through this series faster then i could ever. But i'm coming back to the old series because they were really funny :D and for when u might come back i have some tips. i'm really gonna talk about the caves! The caves are HUGE now for the new update. The caves are really important because theres new ores! Copper etc. Also there's a new level u would most likely find diamonds on u should probably hit cobblestone deepslate before u find any diamonds. Cobblestone deepslate has a diffrent texture and the color is a bit darker and that wood in the video u were talking about is called a mineshaft. When u find one there's a chance it could be very small or HUGE. Ima give u a few more tips. The "green balls" are called experience points they are used for enchantment tables. One more tip. Horses don't drop meat but they do drop leather. U can craft leather armor with 24 pieces. There is also something called the "nether" to get to the nether have to make a portal. Ur gonna need about 10 pieces (cut out the corners) When u get to the nether Ur gonna need to know about this mobs Zombie pigman carry a gold sword u cant take them on by hand ur gonna need a bow which is crafted by 3 sticks and 3 string. Ghast shoot fireballs at u but u can deflect them with ur sword. Blazes also shoot fireballs at u can kill them by hitting them with snowballs or taking them on with a sword. last be not least the wither skeletons. The wither skeletons do NOT carry a bow like the original skeleton. They carry a stone sword. U can easily kill them. Now the ores in the nether. Acient debris is VERY rare. Netherite is also rare to find in the nether but u would most likely find netherite before debris. last but not least the strongholds. The end portals are found in strongholds. When u enter the end portal u will find urself face to face with the ender dragon what happens when u kill the ender dragon i wouldnt like to ruin the surprise :) Anyways cory i hope this helps ya out! :D

I gotchu with some more tips Cory FOOD: - Don’t worry about killing all the animals, that will never be a problem -different foods can give more or less hunger bars, the best are beef (comes from cows) and pork chops. When cooked, these can restore 4 hunger bars -yes, you can start a farm. You need sticks and wood to build some fences and a gate. Then you can either get a lead and bring animals or attract them with food. Cows and sheep are attracted to wheat, pigs are attracted to carrots and chicken are attracted to seeds. EDIT: you can use the corresponding foods to breed the animals. Just interact the food with two of the same animals, you’ll feed and make them breed - a wheat farm can also be worked with. You’ll need water, a hoe (bruh don’t even think ab it) and seeds. If you interact on a piece of grass with your hoe, it will hoe the land. Then if you just run around and break some grass, they’ll sometimes drop seeds. If you put some water next to your farmland and plant the seed, wheat will start to grow EDIT: wheat can be used to make bread. It is also crucial if you want to start an animal farm - you can also find a lake or river and fish. You just need sticks and string to make a fishing rod, and your set. Cast the rod, and when bubbles start tugging the rod, click the interact button and you’ll pull in a fish. If you’re lucky, you may pull in some other stuff MINING: -iron ore is very good. It’s easy to find and the tools and armor it makes can be very efficient. Iron pick axe is the “weakest” material that can be used to mine diamonds -diamonds are basically one of the best things you can find during a cave dive. They work very well. - I would recommend you making a shield. I’m pretty sure it only requires some wood planks and only one piece of iron Ingot. When crouched, a shield can absorb multiple creeper (the green exploding things) blasts and take a lot of skeleton arrows. I play on ps4 and use the manual, so I don’t know the exact placements for a shield. -there are 2 things like furnaces. These two are Blast furnaces and smokers. A blast furnace only smelts ores, however it does it at twice the speed. A smoker only cooks food, but again it does it at twice the speed. I don’t know the recipes for these items, so you might need to search it up. OTHER: - like you mentioned, you do need a saddle to ride a horse. However, a saddle can be pretty difficult to get. The only ways I know how is to either get one from fishing, find them in a dungeon chest, or from the nether. You can also get them from raids, which I’ll explain later. - you don’t really need to know this now, but you can craft an enchanting table to enchant items to give them special perks. For example, you can make your sword be able to set things on fire. You can also make an anvil to combine your tool/armor with an enchanting book. However, both will cost XP. Those green balls you were talking about are XP points and are important if you want to enchant items. VILLAGES: If you explore your world enough, you may stumble upon a village. These can be very good. They villagers are passive, and if you have items or emeralds, you can trade with them. Villages have farms and are filled with goods inside of chests. If you take their stuff, they won’t mind. However, a village can have an iron golem, which is also passive unless you attack it or attack a villager. But other than that, if you find a village you can get some pretty good loot. If you see this, I hope it helps, loved the video btw Cory!

*FARMING - MORE FOOD* Hey Cory, so there's another way you can get some food, and it's called farming. It takes some time, but eventually you'll get some nice good ol' fashioned bread. First, you need to make a hoe using 2 sticks and 2 wood, and you want to use it on some dirt/grass by right clicking, tilling it and preparing it for growing. Also, to make sure your food grows quick, your dirt should be right next to some water, so that it can get hydrated (darker). Now you'll need some seeds. To get some, go ahead and break some grass (not the blocks but the plants on top of them), and some may have seeds, some may not. Once you have your seeds, go ahead and plant them into your tilled ground and wait.... After you have waited, your crops will grow and grow until it turns from green into a kinda-yellow color. When it turns that color, they're ready. Break them by left clicking to get your wheat, and as a bonus you get some seeds back, so you can plant them again and continue the cycle! You need 3 wheat to make 1 piece of bread, and although it takes a while, it's fun! Also, side note, make some fences and a gate to protect your crops. Mobs like cows and pigs and such may walk on top of your crops , ruining them, and we don't want that! So, protect your farm so that your animals don't trample them! Also, to ensure your crops grow the quickest, make sure there is water nearby, and make sure your farm is well lit (by placing torches all around). They grow quicker in light than in dark (so technically you can grow crops underground if you have torches). *HERDING - SAVING ANIMALS* I know you've talked about keeping the animals and not killing them too soon so that you don't run out too quick, farming allows you to do that! Let me explain: Chickens are attracted to seeds; if you hold them in your hand, they will walk towards you. Make a small section with fences and a gate, and lead your chickens into that section. Once they are inside, quickly switch items so that they don't follow you and block them in. Once you have 2 chickens in your pen, feed both of them some seeds, and they will, well, let's just say do it. Boom! You have 3 chickens! Keep doing the same thing to grow your supply. You can do the same thing with cows and sheep, except with wheat instead of seeds. For pigs, you gotta use carrots. P.S. If you wanna make leather armor, killing cows and horses gives you leather. Like so Cory can see this!

I love these Minecraft videos more than the average ones. This feels so raw, and he's so clueless, like an actual beginner, and that's what's so refreshing about this instead of watching youtubers building a megabase in 100 days in hardcore minecraft, they already know everything about the base game and can do everything. The low amount of editing helps this because it's so fun watching him learn new things about the game, either on his own or from the help of the samurai. Also these are minimalistic (not in a bad way, like the house and the adventures he goes on) and seeing him play the game blind makes me a bit nostalgic. Def one of my favorite series on his channel.

im here with building tips so basically make sure that you have certain days where all you do is get one type of wood. side note, use stone axes or better for that. then, use the same wood for your whole house. also try to make your house 3 blocks tall, since it feels more freeing in a way, also getting beds can help, although get a nice color if you'd like. you can make dye by getting flowers and crafting it, then applying it to the wool blocks. theres lots of colors of beds, pretty much the base colors and some extras. speaking of flowers, you can collect them and put them around your base. theres biomes for certain flowers, most are tiny, yet still hold a considerable amount. theres sunflowers, and some other big flowers i don't know the names of, then a bunch of others like the poppy/rose, daisy, and stuff like that. also if you mine grass, theres a chance you get seeds that you can plant BY WATER to get wheat, for bread. theres also carrots, and potatoes you get from villages. also make some chests, LOTS AND LOTS of chests. you will commonly come from a scavenge or mining trip and have a full inventory with useless items. they're also good for valuables you don't wanna lose by dying. so make sure you have like 10 of those, speaking of mining, have them inside your base, so you can mine during the night without having to travel.

*Herding animals 101* Each animals like different type of 'food'. All you need to do is get close to an animal with it and it will follow you. • Chicken - seed (from breaking grass) • Sheep + Cow - wheat (from farming seeds or from raiding a village's farm) • Pig - carrot/potatoes (from raiding a village's farm or zombies kill drop) I recommend making a fenced area for the animals before you start herding them and make sure to make it have double gates to make it easier for the animals to enter! ps: feed their preferred 'food' to 2 animals to breed them. this way, all u need to start a farm is just 2 of the same animals ^^

Hey Cory, here are some tips for fighting against monsters: 1. Zombie: its just simple way to defeat him, no abilities what so ever. Can be killed from sunlight. He has the same hp as yours (i think) but with no armor. And you have a chance find loot other than rotten flesh 2. Skeleton: try to dodge some arrow because it deals lot of damage and if you cant dodge it try to craft some shield. It will deflect some arrows. Can be killed from sunlight 3. Creeper: those are green creatures with no arms. It wont die from sunlight. So try to bait his self destruct by going back and forth. You can detonate him using flint and steel (it creates fire) right click on him and he will explode easily. But not instant. To make flint and steel. You need one iron and one flint (flint comes from gravel) The gravel looks like gray sand soil. 4. Enderman: those are tall black slenderman type of thing. He has an ability to teleport. DO NOT STARE AT HIS EYES because he will attack you. You will lose so many hearts. So ignore him, do not look at his eyes. Simple. And dont shoot arrow at him, he will dodge with teleportation. Cannot be killed from sunlight and he likes to steal some blocks too. He also hates water 5. Spider: they’re friendly during daytime, but enemy during nighttime. And there’s two types: Default and Cave. Cave spider will attack you using poison effect. It can only be found in the cave. But the default doesn’t have poison ability to attack you. But he will jump at you to attack you for distraction. So try to aim better using swords. To know where your house is. You have to remember where you going. Or you can press F3 to see some grids and compass. Aka Coordinates Find the letter XYZ, it will tell you the number beside it to know where your house is. Don’t forget it. X is left right, Y is up down, Z back and forth. Like so cory can see this.

Since everybody already talked about mining tips and all that stuff, I’ll be talking about farming and animals: -To find wheat, find grass and start hitting it. You may not get much but save for at least 10 -To start a farm craft a hoe (no, not that hoe) and right click to fertilize the land. - Also around the areas where you put the fertile land make sure to dig a 1 block deep hole and place water around the area -To find other crops, try to explore and find a village to find carrots, beetroot, potatoes, etc. You can also find sugar cane along body’s of water - Sugar Cane can be important in the future for making an enchantment table and trading with villagers - For animal farming, make sure to make fences for each animal (cow, sheep, pig and chicken). Also make sure to make a gap in the fence and place a fence gate. - To lure sheep and cows, use wheat. For chickens, use seeds. And for pigs, use carrots. - With all their foods in mind, if you feed two of the same animal their preferable food, they will have a baby. Make sure to have at least 2 of each animal in your farms. - for fishing, find any body of water and take a right click on a fishing rod. Once you see bubbles heading your way, tug the fishing rod with right click but only when the fishing rod bobs down. This will get you fish. -For sheep, craft sheers (like you did) and right click on the sheep which allows it to live and for you to get wool in bigger amounts. -To ride a horse you must tame it. You know when love hearts start appearing above it’s head. Once you do that, open the inventory and put a saddle in the designated area. (You find saddles by fishing or naturally spawned chests. Hope this helps!

Tip: Iron is a really useful resource so try to get a lot of it, you'll be able to make a full set of armor, as well as tools strong enough to mine diamond. You can find diamonds near lava, they are light blue, DO NOT MINE IT WITH STONE OR WOOD TOOLS. A very easy way to find diamonds is by going into those giant holes in the ground, which usually take you pretty far down, although try to bring a bucket of water, as well as a lot of torches with you if you do go down one.

House: Your house needs to be four blocks high so you have space above your head. For windows you need glass which you can get from smelting sand in a furnace. You can find sand by big bodies of water. Be careful when placing the glass down because you won’t be able to pick it up again. It’ll just shatter into pieces. Farm: you need fences for a farm so animals don’t step all over it and destroy it. You need to use a hoe before planting seeds and you need water, you can make a farm by a pond or get a bucket which you can make with iron and make a farm near your house. You can plant wheat seeds, carrots, beet seeds, etc. you can use wheat to make bread. The eggs that you get from chickens can be used to make cake. Ravine: to get down use water or make a staircase. You will find lots of ores down there (diamonds, gold, red stone, lapis, coal, iron). (Not really understanding why you guys care so much that I wrote this, I chose to write it so move along and go about your day,)

Hey Cory! Btw Ik this is my second comment but pretty much the game is like u could pretty much build, which you got that part but also you could get diamonds BUT! Mine it with a diamond pickaxe. You have to go mine for the diamonds, iron, emeralds, and coal but there is a mob named “enderman” and he could teleport. If you look him into the eyes he will try to kill you and or hit him. You can maybe make a shear by iron I’m pretty sure u only need 2 iron, but you could check! Srry this is a lot but also you can make this portal and it will lead you to another dimension. What you need to go there is netherrite and flint. How you make netherite is you get water and lava but be careful you have to place them in the correct spot! Also how to make flint is you mine gravel (find in caves sometimes) and you also need iron. After you get the flint and iron you already know put it in the crafting table (it should tell you where to place it I think) and boom! ❤

Tip for Cory: You can use the iron to make a iron pickaxe. You can't mine gold, redstone, emerald, diamond, and lapis without a iron pickaxe. Redstone: You can use redstone and iron to craft a compass. The compass will point to the direction that you spawned. Emerald: There are villages around the world in Minecraft. There are villagers there that will trade with you. You can use emerald to trade stuff. Or you can give the villagers stuff to get emeralds. Diamond: You can mine diamond to get a diamond pickaxe. The pickaxe can be used to mine obsidian. Obsidian is the dark blocks in a cave that are near lava or water. You can only use diamond pickaxe the mine it. You can use the obsidian to go to the Nether. To go to the Nether you need 12 pieces of obsidian and then you need flint and steel. You need to put the obsidian in a rectangle going up. Lapis: Lapis is the blue stuff in caves you use it to enchant stuff. You need a enchantment table to enchant. To make a enchantment table you need 3 obsidian, 2 diamond, and a book. Tip for cory: Stone pick goes to iron ore. Iron pick goes to diamond, REMEMBER THIS. Diamond pick goes to obsidian. Never mine ores while on top of them. ALWAYS BRING AT LEAST 20 STEAK and A WATER BUCKET when going cave mining, including two or more pickaxes(iron). Ight good luck chief.
