If you want to try out wall papering you could do a closet. My grandma loved find a bit of expensive wallpaper on clearance and then putting it up in her closets. It made it fun when you opened the door and came upon a unexpected burst of pattern and color!

One way to practice run the wallpaper: use your office, utility room, perhaps even hallway and make it a temporary decor. Go to B&Q or similar and pick 2 or 3 complementary styles that you can live with, and take a half meter of each as a sample (they usually have an open roll for exactly this purpose, sometimes I've been allowed up to a meter - check with the staff first how much you're allowed to take. They may charge you a small amount, think of it like getting sample pots of paint). Try and get the thicker paper so it's more like what you will be working with. You can then get a feel for the process by sticking your samples to the wall. You can then either leave them up, use some wood trim to frame them out and have some temporary decor. Or just remove them fairly quickly after sticking them on (all paste and sticky back types I have used in the past have allowed for this). Otherwise. You need about twice as much time as you think, lots of room to work, a sharp blade and ideally another pair of hands! It's not that hard to do at all, I promise 😊. Looking forward to the reveal of the makeover and your big news, best of luck!

Thank you for sharing Alex. Personally, Im at a moment in my life where I am focusing on myself and the love and healing I deserve. Small wins are big wins for me! I go swimming and practice pilates and do it to take care for my physical body, but more because my mental health needs it. I love it. Also, paying attention to what I need, whenever I feel it, even if that is watching a film, or preparing a real nice dinner or going out for a walk, it all pays off. So yeah, celebrating our wins, even though they are not big or hugely important, they are to me

Hi, I want to word this kindly and will try my best! I feel as though the last couple of sponsored videos haven't been that clearly or obviously labelled. It's very unusual to read the description before watching a video and both these last times I was taken by surprise realising quite a way in that I was listening to an advert and not just you chatting about someting in your life. Just felt a bit odd and offputting. It seems more common these days for people to put 'AD' in the title of the video if the whole thing is sponsored, and to have it come up on the screen if it's for a segment. My intention is for this to be taken as constructive feedback and not an attack; I hope I managed that!
@MadeleineOlivia
@MadeleineOlivia Жыл бұрын
I usually always do this and put “ad” on screen for total transparency. Sorry this time it was missed - total oversight and I want to share when something is an advert. I added in the “paid partnership” label from KZbin to help indicate this xxx

We got a new MG5 EV. The garage had pre-registered it so it had 7 miles on, we didn’t loose money buying a brand new car as technically we were second owners. It has a 7 or 8 year warranty and the cost of the car per month we have saved on fuel from our old petrol car. If we keep it for the 8 years it won’t loose money as it would have only cost us what petrol would have. Hope that makes sense.

I’ve just had to say goodbye to my Mini after having it almost 9 years - it was second hand when I got it. It was AMAZING and I miss it 😢 couple of tips - service it regularly and never let the coolant get too low. Plus make sure your posture is totally comfortable because I found my knees naturally sat quite a bit higher than the line of where my hips are (hope that makes sense) in the Mini and it ended up making my hip flexors very sore (physio worthy bad). You sit in like a bucket type shape which can be quite bad for your posture long term. And the chairs don’t allow you to change it, and a cushion didn’t help! Also bear in mind if you want children in the next few years you do still have to bend down quite a bit to access to back. However I personally found the car EXTREMELY reliable and cost effective Xx

Have you researched exfoliation at all? I have exfoliated in one way or another since I was very young as my beautiful grandmother always talked about skincare and I literally look many years younger now....I used loofah sponges for a long time,,, when I'm on a budget I use vegan sugar and some sort of oil like olive oil or coconut oil and I also have a little Panasonic hand held ($100) skin polisher that I was using it might help when you say your skin is uneven it needs a layer of dead skin scrubbed of in my opinion ; )

It was at least 40 or so minutes that we weren't just watching you talk to the camera. Not much at all was going on and the hair fiddling with over the top. Perhaps if you know you are going to stand in front of the camera for an extended time, you could hold something in one hand to cut back on the hair play. I know you like to share all the details of your life, but a lot of it is just mundane detail that doesn't end up being at all riveting. Please don't take offence, just trying to give feedback. If your seedlings are falling over, they need hardening off. You can do that by putting a fan on them on a low speed so that they toughen up. Congratulations on the new project!
