Hello everyone, you may not believe it, but the self-immolation incident mentioned on the video was staged by the Chinese Communist Party. As soon as the self-immolation incident took place, the Chinese Communist Party government repeatedly broadcast the video of the self-immolation on China's main media channels. They show it over and over again on TV with regular frequency for several months, even years. Why does the Chinese Communist Party do that? Isn't that slandering Falun Gong? Not only that, the Chinese Communist Party has spent nearly 1/3 of the total amount of money from the national budget just to persecute Falun Gong. While Falun Gong practitioners are people who live according to the standards of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, do not sabotage national security, and obey the law, they are taught to be good people and better. Because they are People who value human life more than anything, so self-immolation is not possible, so this is an arrangement by the Chinese Communist Party. Since 1999, the Chinese Communist Party government has devoted all its resources to persecuting Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners are innocent people, they were kidnapped without reason into forced labor camps, they were brutally beaten, starved, and the Chinese Communist Party government even robbed them of their internal organs. organs of Falun Gong practitioners while they were still alive to gain illegal profits. The organ transplant industry in China is quite developed, because they have a large number of organs obtained from organ harvesting, when you come to China for the purpose of organ transplant, they can respond. Meet that need within a period of just a few days or even a few hours. The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners continues from 1999 to today. This brutal persecution must end. If you listen to the propaganda of the Chinese Communist Party Government. You are an accomplice of that devil. People can go online and print "The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners" and you can find a lot of specific and accurate evidence. Hope you can choose to follow what is honest and good to avoid becoming evil

grewing up outside China I saw Falun Gong's video about this first. They claimed that it was staged by the government because of some "suspicious" points in the reports. But then I read the original Chinese reports and found that those details or footages were misinterpreted by Falun Gong. Now, I feel that their lies still hold for their practitioners. However, once Li Hongzhi passes away, Falun Gong will definitely collapse, because he's considered the Creator. At that time, many people would probably betray Li Hongzhi

They talk shit about anything Chinese. They called Hero (the 2002 movie) a propaganda of authoritarianism and imperialism, which is just the dumbest take. And in general, when they report "truthful" events, they deprive them of all context. They make it look like China is the worst country on the planet, which is far from truth. I'm not a tankie, I don't simp for the CCP, but calling them worse than America, Russia, Israel, France, etc. shows complete ignorance of world politics. Is China good? Ofc not! It truly is remarkable how influential Falun Gong's media operation has become, especially on English language reporting on China. It is almost impossible to find Western China coverage that hasn't been tainted by their dubious propaganda. Would love to see a deep dive into their media empire that highlights a few of their most successful disinformation campaigns/ enduring misconceptions linking back to their "reporting." BTW, really appreciate your covering this topic. Too few ppl are aware of Falun Gong's existence, much less their media presence. With tensions between China & the West on the rise, accurate reporting is more important than ever. It's a bit scary knowing this and seeing a lot of their propaganda repeated word for word from sitting US senators and the like. And while it mostly comes from the Right, it's not unusual to hear stories they've "reported" on the more moderate side of the isle. I'm afraid it has already become a serious problem. We've just yet to realize it. It's the next "Russian disinformation operation." Except this time the magnitude of the problem is, if anything, underestimated.

I respectfully disagree. People who want to extract something (like devotion or money) manipulate people in a way that they know can avoid triggering certain alarm bells in some people's heads. It's a facet of human nature that they take advantage of The same applies to scammers. They know how to hijack certain people's brains and use that to steal their money. Victim-blaming just avoids realizing that the core issue is the manipulation, and that just keeps people thinking that they'd never fall for anything like that. Sad to say, that mentality makes people even more vulnerable to buying BS like Falun Gong or a sob story from a "Nigerian Prince"

I've been to their meet-ups, and practiced their techniques. You got quite a few details about their beliefs wrong, but your historical facts are very interesting. I ultimately determined they were not for me but you really make them sound alot more crazy than they are. Their worship of the master is closer to the Buddhist worship of the dallai lamma than it is a typical cult leader. They are not without their wacky beliefs but the core tenant of their holy book is that you alone have the power within you to become better. All humans are sleeping gods. Not once was I ever told I needed to meet the master and could only improve through him. They preached the exercises he developed are all you need to cleanse your soul and in turn improve the quality of your life. Not a single member I met had even met the master before so hes really not as important to the majority of them as you make it out to be here.

@@alindiataylor5348 There is an awful lot of propaganda from China about them but they don't make any of their beliefs a secret so its always seemed strange to me when people who dont listen to the source claim they know what the source is doing. Its very easy to take some of their wackier beliefs out of context but that doesn't change if their practices have an effect or not. Its certainly worth a read and the exercises are worth trying out if you are at all interested in Qi Gong but at the end of the day its still a modern sect made by a modern man who claims to possess ancient wisdom. They are based on Daoism which is both a religion and medicinal philosophy for longevity. Personally I have found if something has persisted for as long as the original daoist practices have then they must have been preserved for a reason so I looked for the source of all these ideas for my practice. I found anything created in the new age has too much influencing it which leads to all the misunderstandings organizations like FG face in the modern interconnected world. There is a reason the ancient masters isolated themselves on mountains and only ever passed their secrets onto a few disciples at a time. The more people inserting their point of view into something the muddier the truth that cannot be spoken becomes.

does it work for mental health
@robotspaceninjas5784
@robotspaceninjas5784 Ай бұрын
@@johnjones99124 To be frank yes and no. If the teachings resonate with you then practicing it will absolutely help you but if it doesnt then you arent going to be addressing the source of your problem. This religion is technically a Daoist sect which is the oldest Chinese religious philosophy on health. To the Daoists, mental and physical health are one and the same. What you experience as thoughts and emotions are actually your various organ systems trying to talk to you and ask for your help. Things like anxiety and depression are your bodies way of telling you something is wrong with either your environment, your diet, or your activity level. If you eat well and exercise regularly but still suffer then you might be getting poisoned by something in your environment like mold or industrial chemicals. If you dont eat well or move well then those are the best areas to start with. Falun Gong in its most simplest form is an exercise program that involves long periods of standing still and doing only breathing exercises. I had mental health issues and struggled to do such simple tasks for long periods of time but I was able to use the Daoist philosophy to solve the source of my mental health issues by cultivating my bodies physical health. I eat only nutrient dense food and as little as I can tolerate. I do very low stress exercise daily with the purpose of improving my mobility and flexibility, and I have spent alot of time and money researching and addressing the poison's in my environment I cant escape from. My advice would be to just study all things associated with Daoism and start learning how to train internal martial arts systems like Bagua and Xing Yi. These have been some of my favorite forms of cultivation exercise. Tai chi is a good place to start too but it got a little boring for me. Just remember dont give up there is a solution to your problems and you are the only one who can uncover it. Good Luck Bro!!!

@@nicholasmclaughlin8638 The Falun Gong website Minghui never showed a segment of CCTV where she sang. But she did talk to reporters. It is possible to talk with a Passy-Muir valve after tracheotomy. It's used for patients that had tracheotomy. Concerning the question of the sterility of the environment, how communications between burn patients and others are handled depends on the hospital's guidelines. There are other cases where people directly come into the patient room without that protection, such as the september 11th attack's burn victims. We can not assume that they are not Falun Gong practitioners unless they did not behave according to the teachings of Falun Dafa. The people involved in the incident did not intend to commit suicide, so whether suicide is forbidden or not does not give a conclusion to this question. And your interpretation of the segment of the lecture in Changchun is yours only. Only Minghui can decide the official interpretation of these teachings. Back then, Minghui didn't talk about these types of stuff yet, so it is possible that some people believed that burning was a good thing. But as soon as he loses the Fa, do you know what he faces? The piece definitely seems to paint the CCP with some very rose to tinted glasses, and omits other very important details that give context and elaborate on just exactly what the CCP did to these people, or the treatment of anyone.who even shed light on what atrocities a lot of these people underwent and continue to do so because they do some whacky meditation and refuse to submit their soul to the state.
