I heard this from a fellow hair stylist and I thought I would share it...She was offering gift cards at a discount. (All those who purchased one ended up being her long time clients) But I thought it was a good idea. This will help the stylist financially during this time of quarantine. But they will know to prioritize these clients when coming back. The client will have assurance that they can get into the salon as soon as it re-opens, and they won’t feel like they have to look around for another stylist who can fit them in sooner but may not be able to do what you can do for them, and of course they save money on their hair service. Not a bad idea in my opinion, and it’s customizable. Some stylists may prefer to keep it exclusive to their long time clients, or only include specific services only.

It’s very thoughtful of you to think about people who are suffering from mental health, suicidal thoughts and tough family life. Shows the kind of person you are! I think a lot of people forget about the people who are in an abusive household or who go hungry and only eat at school who are stuck at home! Pray for them!

This comment is gold...I 100% agree with you. It's horribel that people have died and it breaks my heart and everyone that are sick...and I think that everyone should take responsibility of course, stay home when you are sick, not travel aboard for holiday (just for fun so to speak) right now etc...but you are right, many people forget about everyone else that's been affected in other ways...like financially, people in abusive homes as you said etc...if you only care about those affected by the virus itself, and say that nothing else matters, then you aren't that caring and thoughtful of other people (to those people that have that mindset...someone famous on IG said that people are selfish, and they can't care about money and other things right now only the people that are sick from the virus...yes easy for that person to say, who have a lot of money and can stay at home for a very long time etc...🙄). Isn't it more caring and thoughtful if you care about EVERYONE? Both the ones that are affected by the virus itself and their families, AND everyone else that are affected in many other ways??...your comment said it best ❤

Got laid off 2 weeks ago and live alone. Feeling a tad nuts. I keep telling myself to enjoy the time off somehow! This is the most time off I've EVER had in a row!!! But of course it's impossible to enjoy this with all the worry involved. Thanks for the reminder to go outside though. I have a tiny patio area I should really be going out in more. Staying inside just makes all the days roll into one.

Same here Im a care worker in Scotland, I dont drive so I have to use two busses to get to a retirement home where I work , and during the last week I started seeing more and more people coming on a public transport again... 😬😬 (I Really hope they are all going for their essential work, not to judge anyone here... 😬) I seriously considering getting a bike to go to work because going on a bus and sitting there among a bunch of people when there's no ACs and windows are closed simply make me anxious.. 😑😑 I'm just terrified of bringing the virus to the elderly 😭

Elon Musk said the panic is dumb and people chewed him out for it. But he's right, people buying up products that aren't even imports. Like products are still being made, shipped & stocked but people are clearing shelves like we wont have them. Panic is adding problems on top of problems

TheWalkingBritt exactly!! I work for a major grocery retailer in the corporate office and people are hoarding things we can and DO get restocked in a matter of days. There was no threat of a toilet paper shortage until people started hoarding it. And they go in waves. For a week, people were hoarding bread. Why, no clue. But the next week everyone realized that was stupid and all of our stores were suddenlyLOADED with bread that will definitely be wasted at some level. These knee-jerk panic reactions cause consequences but no one thinks about that.

Thank you Brittany for touching on this very touchy subject. It is seriois. It is real. I miss my stylist. I miss my salon. I am due for a trim since like yesterday sis. I cannot wait for them to open back up😩Ofcourse saftey first. Every one stay safe out there and continue to be healthy. Be mindful of others and protect yourself and check up on your loved ones as well. I still travel to and from work since I am considered an essential worker so I am stressed every day I have to put myself at risk for my job. I am grateful to have a job. I am grateful that if we still shutdown we will get paid for that time off. So I will take those extra steps to keep myself and my partner safe as well. Just stayed prayed up y'all. I don't know how long this will go on but things will eventually hopefully if god is willing will get better. I have hope and faith in humanity.

I'm super into WW2 History so thankfully I have had perspective on this whole Covid Quarantine situation. I'm thankful everyday that my family is safe and that we're not in a world war. Where have you been!? This vid was a pleasant surprise. Even though I’m fine and my family is fine seeing the stress of other people is making me sad and anxious. I don’t even watch the news like that but just imaging what others are going through is enough to make me sad. I’m sad but worried because nobody knows what will happen. I have a job and can working while quarantining and social distancing. I noticed people being anxious in late February and just took it as a sign to prepare food-wise and get stuff in order just in case. I’m glad I did too because a lot of stuff is way out of stock.
