Genetically Modified Skeptic I've always been atheist/agnostic, when I was little I hated the idea of church and constantly asked my dad and mom why I had to go, my dad would tell me that I didn't have to go if I could tell him the meaning of life, as I was 7 I couldn't, I was never keen on the idea that God existed in fact I constantly saw contradicts, like how the devil was supposed to be the worst thing in the universe but happen to only kill 6 people and punished bad people while god killed LITERALLY EVERYONE More than a couple times all because he was mad or though people were sinning, so I just didn't believe. I've never believed just like santa I was always skeptical of their existence.

We must stay focused, brothers. We must stay focused. Brothers, what have we done. look at us. look at what we've become. This isn't right. we're wasting time going on about girls and sus drawings that don't give a f*ck about us. What is the point of lust? Why do we do this? This doesn't fix our problems, doesn't make the stress and pain go away. Ayo, I don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events. *IF* anyone is interested, read on *NOTE:* I can’t prove God to you. It all comes down to your choice to put your trust in Jesus Christ. That’s all faith is-TRUST. Unfortunately in these recent years, science and “religion” (as we know them today) have bastardized each other and themselves. Point is, faith is trusting in Jesus. It’s not a blind jump into what non-believers call nothingness. Billy Graham said something reminiscent of that. I have no power over you. I can only tell you, but I can’t force you. (I mean, we’re conversing online lol. I’m not at your location… yet) james 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Check out “HolyLandSite, Cold-Case Christianity, Delafé Testimonies.” There may be more, but those are the ones I know of. repent to God, friends. We must stay focused, brothers, on what really matters. I'm only 17, but I'm telling you, in the words of johnny cash, "sooner or later God will cut you down." I don’t want you to suffer like I did/do. *YOU WILL LOSE ALMOST EVERYTHING IMPORTANT TO YOU! PLEASE, FOR YOUR SAKES, REPENT AND TURN TO JESUS! SAVE YOURSELVES FROM YOURSELVES! It’s a pit you *CAN NOT* get out of. *AGAIN, I DON’T WANT YOU TO SUFFER LIKE I DID/DO! I LOVE AND CARE FOR YOU TO TELL YOU THIS!* He is, in the words of Skillet, "better than drugs." He is also *WAY* better than lust. love is greater than lust. You'll find out that this is true. love may hurt, and same for lust, but lust will keep you chained down, eventually killing you mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and possibly physically. AGAIN, I DON’T WANT YOU TO SUFFER LIKE I DID/DO! hell was never meant for us, my fellow youtube user. it was for the devil and his squad, and God gave us the Way out of there since we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. God knew we were wack, but He decided He was still come down and help us, despite our unfaithfulness. most relationships (like friendships, romantic relationships) aren't like this. Very few, but not a whole lot. religion (Christianity) is just a relationship with God along with loving others (see james 1:27) also, we have various types of evidence that backs up the Bible. Here's one example: Scientists have discovered that the earth "skipped" a day. The Bible explains how that happened. In the book of Joshua, Joshua asked the sun to stop so he and the Israelites could defeat their enemies. Then in 2 Kings, King Hezekiah learned he was dying, and pleaded to God to not let him die. God sent a prophet to king hezekiah who said hezekiah would live. Hezekiah wanted a sign, and that would be for the sun to defy the law of inertia and go back 10 degrees. NASA confirmed it and did the math (look it up for more info). We also found Noah’s Ark hanging out in turkey, along with anchor stones marked with crosses signifying that it’s a revered place, along with altars and many other things. Look it up, it’s good stuff (HolyLandSite). more evidence for the Bible concerning cosmology and divine revelation in job 26:7, proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22 (read on) The idea that the earth was round can be dated back to 600 BC in Greece. It was more widely accepted around the 3rd century (300 BC-201 BC) Note: time was “labeled” differently back then. for example, year 3000, year 420, year 69, year 0, year 1, year 2… and so on. Job 26:7: “. . .He [God] hangs the earth on nothing” The book of Job was supposedly written at 2100 BC. Proverbs 8:27: “. . .when He drew a circle on the face of the deep. . .” Proverbs was possibly written between 970 and 686 BC Isaiah 40:22: “it is He who sits above the circles of the earth. . .” Isaiah was written between 739 and 680 BC. This one doesn’t pertain to cosmology, but it refers to divine revelation nonetheless. Isaiah 11:15 “The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.” Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.” How did they know about this? You tell me, my fellow Zoomerz. The Holy Spirit exists. I was suicidal for 9-ish months, but then I read John 3:16, and poof- the big sad went away in one night. Also, look up John Gabbana's (boonk gang) testimony. Dude did a lot of wacky stuff. He's changed now. Check out “Delafé Testimonies.” They got some good stuff as well *YOU CANNOT DENY THE WORK GOD DOES IN PEOPLE’S LIVES* also, the soul exists. someone i know (i won't say who- privacy reasons) saw their soul leaving their body. like pulling off a band-aid, except it doesn't hurt. There are also non-Christian sources who have confirmed the existence and divinity of Jesus, some of which were hostile towards Christianity, such as: Thallus (52 AD), who said Jesus lived, was crucified, and confirmed the darkness and earthquake that followed Christ’s crucifixion; Tacitus (56-120 AD), who called the followers of Christ Christians, confirmed that Jesus was crucified under Pontus Pilate’s command Talmud (400-700 AD), confirmed that the disciples were martyred for their faith, and confirmed Jesus was executed the day before the Passover, and said Jesus had “magical” powers Pliny the Younger (61-113 AD), who said that the Christians thought Jesus was/is God in the Flesh (God the Son) Phlegon (80-140 AD), who said Jesus had the ability to predict the future, and confirmed that Jesus was crucified during Caesar’s reign, confirmed Jesus rose from the dead, and confirmed He showed His wounds to confirm He was crucified. Celcus (175 AD), who said Jesus was born of a virgin, said His father is a carpenter, and confirmed Jesus had miraculous powers (See cold-case Christianity for more details) Here’s the physical evidence of Jesus and His Resurrection: 1) No persecution would have started if He hadn’t come back (the disciples thought Jesus would never resurrect) 2) The Roman soldiers would have paid with their lives if they failed at their jobs 3) there was a 2-4 ton rock that 11-12 guys would have to move (they didn’t have any help. Everyone said “crucify Him”) major L to those opposed to Jesus 4) there was a Roman seal which was a metal pin that sealed the tomb stone 5) Stealing the Jesus’s body isn’t something the disciples would do (besides Judas. Although he hung himself after feeling remorse for betraying Jesus). 6) the disciples wouldn’t die for what they knew would be a lie. (The lie being Jesus never made the ultimate comeback) faith and reason, people hit me up to learn more about how science proves the Bible or just about God in general

I was never a theist, but I was taken to a Sunday school and only lasted one lesson. I was aged 6, and they were teaching us the story of Noah and the flood. I kept asking about the fish, because my father kept aquarium fish at the time. He had several tanks of different types, and had graphically described the consequences of mixing them up - especially the salt & fresh water fish. I knew that (other than a few special species), most fish die quickly if the water isn't right. I also wanted to know how they kept the water apart, and some of the water cold, and some water warm - I knew this was important. But nobody could answer me, and I was asked not to return.

@@shouqh-x4u It’s a bit of a long story to get into here on youtube, but I was indoctrinated from a very young age. The reason why a lot of Muslims go down the salafist, extremist route or end up blindly defending the religion is because the upbringing and the teachings inflict fear a lot of the times, which is incredibly damaging to a child’s mental health and critical thinking skills. I wasn’t allowed to question and when I did I would get shunned and humiliated because Allah hates disbelievers and Allah burns people that doubt or question his existence, I wasn’t allowed to make mistakes because Allah is breathing down my neck and watching my every move, waiting to burn me in hell for not wanting to dress modestly or for kissing a boy I like or for sipping a glass of wine. It was just incredibly draining for me to keep trying to justify all the emotional abuse, or to justify to myself that my community was not mistreating me by giving me less rights in so many different areas( custody rights, inheritance rights, divorce rights, etc.) , and that Allah intended for it to be that way for some secret reason that no one seemed to be able to explain. I guess deep down I always knew I was lying to myself. For an ideology to be the right one it shouldn’t require you to put yourself through that much mental gymnastics to justify its teachings, it should just naturally feel right. There are other reasons too but that was the psychological aspect .

This guy's storytelling is bizarre. How many fallacies can a young guy speak on the one video? 🤦 God didn't Create the first man Adam until the last day of work. Read the first few Chapters of Genesis (it's not hard). Therefore, Mankind wasn't around to witness days 1 to 5. The days of creation aren't literal days of 24 hours as they were days according to God. (See 2nd Peter Chapter 3 Verses 8 and 9 for further insight) It's well known that Moses wrote Genesis. Moses was God's prophet. Evolutionists vouching for 'evolution' ISN'T proving 'evolution' as taught to be true. 🙄 When was the last time any one of you lot held, studied and even analysed a fossil nevermind a series of fossils without having an 'evolution' obsessed professor or lecturer telling you what you're allegedly looking at? *"It is easy enough to make up stories of how one form gave rise to another and to find reasons why the stages should be favoured by natural selection but such stories are not part of science for there is no way of putting them to the test."* And, *"Fossils may tell us many things but one thing they can never disclose is wether they are ancestors of anything else".* Dr Colin Patterson Former SENIOR Paleontologist at The Museum of Natural History. He also went on to say even more extraordinary things about his peers in the scientific community. What about this from Lynn Margulis?....... *"The accumulation of genetic mutations were touted to be enough to change one species to another...I think it was wish fulfillment and social momentum.* *Assumptions, made but not verified were taught as fact."* Also, *"I was taught over and over again that the accumulation of random mutations led to evolutionary change, led to new species.* *I believed it until I looked for evidence."* Lynn Margulis Evolutionary Biologist and Geneticist. Lynn Margulis was a supporter of evolution as well. The mind boggles.

While my mother was raised Lutheran, and my dad raised catholic, neither of them pressured me or my brother to follow religion. The result was that I didn’t even really ponder whether I believed or not. Because I just simply didn’t care … I mean, it’s hard for a kid to contemplate things they don’t believe affect them. However, I started attending a Christian youth group when I was about 15. I went every Sunday evening and listened to the message. Through the group, I made a lot of friends, had a lot of fun participating in activities, and got fulfillment through hearing the pastor’s message. The problem was that no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t make myself believe in god. I mean, huge kudos to the youth pastor, who focused more on the morals and ideas of the bible, rather than the script (which I assume was to appeal to a broader audience), but my brain wouldn’t allow me to believe. So, essentially this magnificent, all-loving being, who created me - did so in a way that I wouldn’t be able to accept Jesus. Yet, without accepting jesus, I’m damned to an eternity of fire … Really? God knew before I was created that I was doomed to hell because of the way he built my brain. Yeah … that’s a being worth worshiping.

Living on this planet for 34 years, I've discovered tons of evidence, and experienced many things that form the meaning of my life. At the same time, I can definitively say I've found no compelling corroborations for god. You're right when you declare that my life isn't over just yet! However, your correct observation doesn't give you insight into my existence enough to speculate upon my fate. I know where my life has taken me thus far, and I've a pretty good idea on where it's headed ... And converting to theism just doesn't seem like a very likely step in my journey ahead. Still, of course, I'm not clairvoyant. And for all I know, my foresight could be wildly askew (though still more accurate than yours). But by building off of my current stance in regards to god, factoring in my history and learned experiences, harnessing my insight, all the while keeping in mind where I'd be happy to have my story end - None of it points to me having a late-life epiphany and becoming 'saved'. As it stands now, nothing short of receiving a serious brain injury would be enough for me to conjure up the faith it takes to believe in a deity.

Like you I grew up in a strict evangelical household but I also knew I was gay. That didn’t stop me from diving head first into faith and Bible college where I was forced into a “pray away the gay” group as a condition of my education. I remembered asking my mom when I was younger, “why does the Bible lie about me?”. She had no idea what I was talking about and I spent countless nights begging god to make me straight. It was an attempt at suicide that finally snapped me out of this obsession. I knew I was only moments away from pulling the trigger when I suddenly realized I was dead and being dead, nothing mattered. Nothing my family or the church said mattered. I’d already realized that I didn’t believe what they taught but I had been going through the motions out of obligation and fear. So, being dead, I needed nothing. I got dressed and walked away. I promised myself that if I was still so deeply unhappy after 6 months of living the way I felt I should be living, then I would actually pull the trigger. I never looked back, found my community and for the first time in my life, felt I actually belonged somewhere. I was no longer pretending to be something I wasn’t. I often wonder how I would have turned out had I been straight. That frightens me because there would have been nothing to challenge me. My older siblings are so deeply involved in their churches, it’s impossible to talk to them. Not unlike a friend who is so obsessed with “magic the gathering “, that he can’t hold a conversation that isn’t about that game. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos.

Not really knowing what it means to be born-again, but wanting to please and impress their teacher, many little hands suddenly shot up into the air. There was, however, one exception. "I'm an atheist." The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Sarah why she is an atheist. "It's just that my family isn't religious. My Mom is atheist, and my Dad is atheist, so I am atheist." The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason." she says loudly. "What if your Mom was a moron, and your Dad was a moron. Why don’t you believe in God?
@wardenstone6021 Жыл бұрын
@@colepriceguitar1153although im not the original commenter, ill share my reasoning. From i was a pretty young kid i pulled away majorly from the belief in any higher power despite going to a school where every morning we would sing hymns and pray to god. But out of that i began to wonder, as i began to learn more and more about history and i thought, “well, why does our god, who is meant to be the father to his creations allow us to suffer”. And beyond that, why even allow evil to begin with, if humans having “free will” was so integral, then surely he could just use his infinite power to remove the doing evil part from humanities free will, and therefore eradicate suffering. Worshipping a god to me feels really kind of off putting. I dont care if others do because that’s their business. But to worship a being that has the power but not the inclination to stop the horrific things that happen in the world, i do not think deserves to be worshipped in any way.
@colepriceguitar1153 Жыл бұрын
@@wardenstone6021 so you would rather be a robot with no ability to have free will? Can you even comprehend a world where no one can make any choices? Besides, who are you to decide what is horrible and what is not? There’s no objective standard for morality, so what you think is bad is perfectly acceptable to someone else. Who decides that? From an atheistic point of view, everyone does, which means ultimately that no one does.
@wardenstone6021 Жыл бұрын
@@colepriceguitar1153 i would rather have had, if one existed, a god which used his infinte apparent powers to simply get rid of this “evil” which he expects people to abstain from. What’s more, i would damn well expect him to do something about the hundreds of thousands that die in war. There is nothing noble, nothing worthy to be worshipped of a being that willingly allows his creations to butcher one another over if he or some other form of god is real or not and sit back doing nothing like its amusing to him. You speak on the topic of objective or subjective morality and i must say that i am not an expert on the topic. But i have given it some thought and have 2 opinions on it: 1) if to have objective morality means that we live in a world in which a higher power allows it to be within his moral purview to allow the death and destruction of thousands of people, and the endless torment of all those who do not blindly follow him, and the rules he created, after he made us, while he knew we are unable to follow the rules he made and may succumb to the evil that HE allows, then i dont want there to be objective morality. 2) i see the “issue” of morality much in the same way as you may view the definition of a word. Take a word like “anvil”. Well, a word is just a noise right, who am I, as just one lone person, to tell you that an anvil is infact a piece of equipment used to aid the smithing process for metal work. Well, my opinion wouldnt matter. Unless of course, everyone around me to the vast extent also said “yes. This is what an anvil is”. Well then, we as a collective have agreed that, that is what an anvil is. So, take something like robbery. I may say alone “hey, that is fundamentally immoral”. But its only when the majority of those around me agree that it becomes immoral. Let me challenge your point about morality with 2 of my own if i may. How do you believe that the greeks and the romans and the other bronze age civilisations constructed their laws and morality? Was it subjective or objectivr. And second of all, if, as i imagine theists believe, that morality is defined by God as it is in the bible, then why isnt the punishment for those immoral acts objective? Surely if he wants to make it clear that these things are allowed and these other things arent, then why doesnt everyone that commits them face the same punishment?
@colepriceguitar1153 Жыл бұрын
@@wardenstone6021 So your telling me you would worship God if he didn’t allow things like war and death to happen? Well if he didn’t allow those things, you would never know what evil was because all you would know was good. You say that morality can be defined by the vast majority of people, but do you really think that’s a good idea? Go out into the street and ask people questions about morality and see if they have made much of an effort to come up with a sensible and consistent ethical point of view. Look at history and see how senseless the vast majority can be, it’s called mob rule and is often a terrible outcome. How do I believe the Greeks and Romans constructed their laws? By using their minds to try to construct sensible and practical laws. They weren’t necessarily right in all instances, but that’s how they did it. Some laws were objectively right and some were objectively wrong, and some subjectively right and wrong. Why is the punishment not all the same for those who break Moral laws? Well on earth they may receive different consequences because the world is imperfect because we are imperfect beings. But afterwards, they do all receive the same punishment of eternal destruction if they do not submit to God’s will.

First off, well done! What a delight to hear an articulate description of both your journey and your present rationale for where you ended up. I spent about 18 years as an evangelical Christian, beginning at age 18 (I was raised Episcopalian). What drew me and kept me was personal experience, and more particularly, *metaphysical* experience which I attributed to the interventions of Jesus. As I got into my 30's I began to see my metaphysical experiences as something I had in common with people of many different faiths or of no faith. This led to me questioning the origin of the Bible, the organized church, and ultimately, the whole notion of anyone needing "salvation." I tend to avoid the term "atheist" to describe where I ended up because that is often interpreted to be "anti-theist." At root, I am a "live and let live" person. If you choose to believe the Bible, I feel no compulsion to convince you not to believe, so long as you let me believe as I see fit. I DO believe in metaphysical experience and allow for the possibility that there may be a universal "god" or life force behind it all. I also believe that today's metaphysics will be better understood and accepted as tomorrow's physics. The "intention experiments" are a first step in this direction, measuring electrical effects at the receiving end of sent intentions, in a double-blind set of experiments. However, I feel no need to "worship" any forces just because I don't understand them. Lastly, I find the Old Testament stories to be more likely about earthly rulers or possible extraterrestrials than an actual deity with a "chosen people." Yes, we're all special and deserve a trophy. Or something. And the New Testament is so specious in its origins and subsequent filtering of its content as to be quite controversial and untrustworthy. We can't even get a straight answer as to how Judas Iscariot died! The funniest thing about the Bible is that it was curated, filtered, edited and promoted by the Roman Catholic church. The Roman Catholics were its exclusive conservators until the Protestant Reformation led to a few minor tweaks. Today, the more fundamentalist a person is, the more anti-Catholic they tend to be. But the ultimate irony is, these same fundamentalists are the very same people most likely to assert that the Bible is the perfect, literal, inspired word of God. (Even though it was brought to you by the "anti-Christ" Catholics!) LOL

The devil wants to think that :( I pray that you listen with your God given conscience by which you know the truth that part of you never lies. Though it is muffled. I am not asking you to believe in the bible because it confirms it is foolishness to un-believers. Ask yourself these questions answer honestly with yourself, I'll fill in my answers. Have many lies have you told? Countless Have you ever stolen anything regardless how small? Yes. Have you ever used God's name in vain? Yes Have you ever looked at a woman with lust? Yes. Now you may be saying I am a Human being so of course i have done these things and that is the point. We are born into Sin and we do wrong instinctively due to our default nature due to what Adam done. So that's why we deserve to go to Hell because we are criminals in Gods eyes and if any of the above things were done to you e.g lying stealing you would know it's wrong and would have righteous indignation towards those actions. The point is our standard for right and wrong is absolutely non existent it's based on what we feel. You probably feel that paedophilia is wrong, But paedophiles don't and how are they wrong? At that point it is your opinion? The majority of Germany was for Hitler does that make Hitlers actions correct? Well you couldn't say because you have no Moral basis. What if 80% of the world started proclaiming raping is okay? The 10 commandments shows us we are liars thieves blasphemers liars and adulterers at heart and in some cases worse than that. The proof of God in his creation as this amazing universe we know that the universe had a starting point due to 2nd law of thermodynamics which means it has to be caused by something that isn't the universe at one point there was nothing and then there was something and nothing couldn't have made that happen unless there is an cause of the universe that is timeless spaceless and immaterial. We need all three of these principles. Time Space and Matter make up our universe and there is starting point that has to be outwith these.

I first became skeptical when I was around 14, going on 15. I took everything in the Bible with a grain of salt and began to take apart contradictions and immoralities that were presented in the Old Testament. When my family caught on, I was exiled from their sabbath services (they’re jewish, not christian.) for a short while. I realized that I missed being around them, so I came back. My faith wasn’t strong but it was enough to not question God and pretend to believe everything I was told. This facade continued up until recently. I came out to my family as transgender and I was met with semi-support. They didn’t understand what I was going through, but they didn’t ridicule me or display any signs of being unsupportive. After a while, I began to express myself how I wanted. I substituted my traditional long skirt for pants. This displeased my family. The women were particularly unhappy with my decision. What followed was a “conversation” that turned into transphobia and emotional manipulation. They told me that God saw me as an abomination and that they would always see me as my assigned gender at birth, despite starting my transition and noticing the changes I’m going through as a man. They told me that I am not natural and that I go against what God made me; a woman. My sister asked me if I would really choose between spending time with them and keeping faith or not; I chose not. Eventually, they told me that I was no longer welcome in their religious space and that I had to adapt their mindset/tradition and abandon my own identity in order to be accepted. That interaction completely destroyed any faith I had left. Why would I have faith in a deity that sees me as an unholy abomination? What’s the point of praying about it when God would never answer me? I came to a simple conclusion days later: God has no role in my life and neither do my relatives. Surrounding myself around people who see me as who I am and accept me for who I am is far more important than trying to please something that doesn’t even want me. Finding my own purpose and living my life authentically is the biggest fuck you I’ve ever given to anything without a single ounce of regret.

The history of astronomy has been one long demotion of mankind's special place in the universe. First it was flat and everything revolved around us. Then it was obviously round but still the unmoving centre. Then it was spinning and orbiting around a Sun that was the centre. Then the solar system was half out to the edge of the galaxy which still comprised everything. Finally (just under a 100 yrs ago) the galaxy was just another 'island universe' amongst billions in a vast expanding cosmos. After I started living on my own, exploring my total interest in and love for astrophysics and related fields, I came to this beautiful belief in our existence. To me it is the most beautiful thing that we all come from star "stuff" just like the objects around us. Our existence and the universe around us itself is more amazing and provides me with much more peace and amazement than any deity ever could. I feel freed and relieved to just be able to live a human life without being fearful my entire life that I might end up in hell because I'm gay, or that I am a bad person because I'm just bad by birth like we are told to believe. Life has much more meaning and much more value to it, for me that is, since I became an atheist. I also lost my fear of death completely.

I had a vision of Jesus Christ in April of 2024 riding on a white horse as if He was ready to go to war with a sword 🗡️ in His hand. So yes, God is real. Jesus is real. And He's coming back very soon🤍 So believe in Jesus and repent of your sins. Ask God to forgive you in Jesus name. ♥️ Because Jesus decided to lay down His life for humanity, we have a chance at salvation and eternal life in heaven once this physical life is over. We don't have to be eternally damned in hell after we die. We don't have to be tormented for ever and ever. Once we transition from our physical body to our spiritual body, we can have eternal happiness and peace in heaven with God and our Lord and Savior.🤍 Remember, after this physical life is over, our spirits will live on. The body dies, but the spirit doesn't die. Have you ever had a dream that felt soooo real??? Although your body is in your bed, your spirit is activating the dream which is why it feels sooo real. And that's how it will be when we depart our physical bodies. Our physical bodies will expire and decompose, BUT our Spirits will live on and either be with God/Jesus❤️ 🙏 Or with the devil/demons which I hope and pray nobody's soul will have to go there. ...

These new images include the full transmutation process; (Angel-Man-Larva-Death-Locust from within the Alter of St. Peter in the Vatican. I also provide visual evidence of who Abaddon, Apollyon, Satan, known as the Angel from the Bottomless Pit is, along with scriptural proof that Lucifer was the original “Builder” of the earth, and why he in known as the "Prince of the Power of the Air" and how He has deceived all of "You" into believing that GOD is not real. These are amazing revelations, and I give All Glory to the Lord God "El" for allowing me to show you this evidence. However why didn't the nurses run in when they heard a scream you didn't even hear any commotion even outside the room. And my other question is what exactly in ur eyes going on in this. is it the devil, is it a demon. if it was either one of those why re they trying to reveal themselves. I thought there whole thing was convincing people that god and themselves aren't real until its too late. and on the flip side if they in fact do want to prove they're existence, why don't they do this more often. there isn't any shortage of dead bodies. and if they have the power to do one why not more.

@Johnny AppleStead - Actually, heliocentricity, gravity, evolution and expansion are taught in all reputable courses where those topics are relevant. They’re not courses in their own right, much like hammering nails, driving screws and sawing wood aren’t courses in their own right but carpentry is. As for those science topics being unproven, I’m afraid that just highlights gaps in your own understanding. Your journey was a lot faster than mine. I grew up in a cult. A lot of shit happened that shouldn't happen to anyone. My parents beat the f out of me because they thought I had a demon. I was just mentally ill. That's an important part of it. I started having symptoms of Schizophrenia and Asperger's syndrome around the age of 7. It must be said though that I was hyperlexic, I learned to read before I was old enough to attend kindergarten. Hell, I started reading college books before being enrolled in kindergarten. My grandma helped me with hard words and taught me to use the dictionary. Imagine my disgust and boredom when the aide for kindergarten wanted me to read a 1-line per page book. She accused me of not being able to read when I got upset. So I borrowed a book on education techniques from behind the teacher's desk and read it to her. That kind of sets the stage for later. From then until 2nd grade I was doing great in school, really just skating through like it was nothing. I was bored with it. Then my mom moved in with her boyfriend and my being different became a problem. Then we moved to Ohio to join a cult, they got married and Me and my new brothers got homeschooled. Things got really bad. We were super poor because my parents were giving a lot of their money to the cult, work was stressful, and we moved when we weren't financially able. The cult taught a strict hierarchy and my parents imposed it on us. I didn't fit in, and a head injury led to me getting schizo. My middle childhood and teen years were just swallowed up by the cult and the abuse, and our money was swallowed up by pyramid schemes and the cult. I went to high school, but my parents pulled me out to work for the family. I did paving. I was starting to ask questions though. I pulled a knife on my parents one time when they were going to beat me. They did anyways. But I was reaching my breaking point. I got away from my parents and the cult when I was 18. I didn't go to college. I moved in with my grandma. I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD. From 2008 to 2020, I mostly just dealt with my multiple mental illnesses. I have 6 total, It was a massive test of my ability to reason. I'm winning though. Also in that time, I cycled through 20 different religions. Just last October I tried to kill myself. That's also when I stopped being religious, but I was still believing, I was just angry at all the gods I'd ever known. None of them helped me. Around about my 14th psych hospitalization this past february, I was abused in the hospital. That's when I became an Apatheist. Because I no longer care if there is a god. They're one of 3 things: Nonexistent, impotent, or evil. I don't care which. I'll never pray again. It won't effect me either way, so it doesn't matter. In a total departure from faith, I signed up for university and I will be Majoring in Biology and Minoring in Botany. I also bought books on Evolution.

Cooperation is what makes our species so successful. The Russian naturalist Peter Kropotkin wrote a book over a hundred years ago called "Mutual Aid: A Factor In Evolution". I want to change the system so that other people aren't abused when they are just seeking help for a disease. I'm going to take market science too since it is the art of persuasion. I intend to do the necessary research and write books aimed at hospital administrators, politicians, the general public, and patients themselves and try to get everyone on board with reforms that prevent that kind of thing happening and that punish people who do it. I went to Bible College and was a Theology major and I had two roommates. One was a Christian and the other one was an agnostic. One roommate argued with my other roommate, and the arguments I feel didn't end in love and respect for each other. I am Christian, and I am still a Christian to this day from childhood I have been attracted to the Love of Christ, but my arguments within my heart and mind do not end in me not respecting and loving anyone else. In fact many of the arguments in my heart and mind where not very loving towards myself and I had to learn and grow a lot to move past that and realize I cannot love others properly if I do not love myself. And at that the time I was very worried about my agnostics roomates salvation or at least what I considered to be salvation, but that was silly. I still Love both my roomates. There are many things I have learned and continue to learn, but I still have the same Truth of Love inside my heart that resonates with me that I first learned as a kid from reading my Bible. But I didn't grow up with the dogmatism of a certain type of Christian belief, because we all just kind of went to all the Christian churches in town when I was a kid because my family was kind of an outcast family we didn't really fit in our small town society in Northern Idaho. I am very glad that I ended up choosing the path of Love and Respect for others despite my own personal point of view. Because of this I can listen to every ones point of view and love them the same and learn from them. There are many wonderful and beautiful people out there with all shades of beliefs from gnostics to yogis to shamen to dogmatic atheists and agnostics to less dogmatic atheists and agnostics to very domgmatic Christians and Muslims and Hindus and Jews all the way to the less dogmatic not even interested in religion or spirituality types. When the religious call atheists "worldly people" I can't help thinking that they've hit on a subconscious truth: are they implying they've led a sheltered life and that's a big reason why they're believers?
@clutchbridge2 жыл бұрын
That's an interesting observation, and I can't rule out some kind of subconscious second meaning there. I've definitely run across ideas that people outside of Christianity shouldn't really be listened to, leading to sheltered, seclusionist thinking. To my knowledge however, the term's origin and intended meaning comes from parts of the New Testament that refer to christians as belonging to God and the kingdom of heaven instead of this world: by contrast those not following Jesus are said to be of this world, or worldly. But meanings for words are different to different people. Some people may actually mean what you're saying.

The bible is 66 books by at least 40 authors over a period of 1500 years, all telling the very same story. So it is NOT a matter of "credulity"... it's a matter of 'evidence'! All life on earth contains DNA... which is 'information'... which can ONLY originate within an 'intelligent' mind! THEREFORE: God MUST exist! The bible tells us that God created all life on earth by means of His 'intelligence', and we can SEE the 'evidence' of Gods intelligence in the 'information' found in the DNA of every living thing on earth! That means there is 'evidence' for the existence of God. Since you "claim" to be so highly educated... why don't you tell me what "science'" has to say about the origin of life on earth? But you can't... so you wont. You "believe" in atheism thru 'ignorance' and NOT thru knowledge! And yet... you have the raw nerve to accuse someone else of being 'uneducated'??? What really killed all supernatural beliefs was learning psychology and that people are naturally social and will do mental gymnastics to conform to the values and beliefs of those closest to them so that they can socialize, be protected in a group, and find a mate to produce offspring. Social bias is so strong within religious people. I find it much more believable that someone would make up stories of the afterlife to gain social status and will twist scientific findings to fit their stories than if there is an afterlife. People's behavior and therefore societies behavior is molded from the reward system in which social bonding is found to be a highly pleasurable and sought out reward whereas loneliness is painful. There is no wonder why so many people conform.

People damaged by religion make the most badass atheists. I am not concerned with finding the creator of the universe....whether it be an unfathomable cold mindless force, or an intelligent entity....this isn't the most profound question. What are we caught up in; that is the big question.....assuming there is a collective unconscious that thinks as one entity, a sentient conscious entity on a metaphysical journey through space and time, this is the real. Humanity is like a god in space, powerful and good, able to transcend our own pain and trouble.
@@pounceonyou1958 I've seen Stephen Meyer many times before and I'm thoroughly not impressed. His arguments are just as old and flawed as previous arguments for God, just told better. He makes classic arguments from ignorance "I don't know how X could occur naturally, therefore God, and not just any God, but MY favorite flavor of magic Biblical deity." @@Yameen200, I would highly recommend you start with George R. Price, who applied game theory to natural selection (You'll find a great start on that in Wikipedia)... What Price provided was a mathematical and statistical model to show that altruism (selflessness and charity to others) creates a self-serving cycle for the genes to be preserved in a herd, culture, or societal structure. The short example of it, is something like this... You see a child fall into a river, and without regard for your own safety (It being a dangerous river) You jump in and rescue the child. This fortunate event is then relayed (by the child if nobody else) to the parents, who spread word of your heroics (altruism or doing the "right" thing)... AND others gain respect for you. YOU now become a more prestigious person to that family, and their friends... AND they will do things to see to it you get provisions when possible... BECAUSE, they also understand this fundamental principle, and wish to gain YOUR respect too... It builds prestige in THEIR genetics and creates more opportunities to be passed to the next generations... It can be mapped out as Karma, Prestige, "what goes around comes around", or any of myriad other societal constructs as vague or intangible as you like, BUT Price built mathematical models for it and Proved It back in the 1970's. Morals may well be some intangible bullshit, but the fact remains that they are socio-centric principles we all CHOOSE to live by if and as we CHOOSE to live and stay within society. Good luck with your "no consequences" theory. ;o)

My family wasn't imposing any particular beliefs on me however I grew up in Poland, an entirely strongly catholic country. God and stories from the Bible were constantly present on polish language lessons, history and of course in Poland, in every EVERY public school, they have catholic indoctrination classes specifically. And usually only 1-3 kids in whole school don't attend them. At best. While as a kid I wasn't giving it much thought, in middle school we learned the story of Abraham willing to sacrifice his son for the God. Teacher then ask them what we think. I answered that it's an awful story, awful parent and awful God and it shows how to NOT act as a parent and how to NOT act as God. Those weren't opinions of my parents or any of my friends, it just seemed obvious to me. The teacher was in deep shock, other kids too and she started arguing me on it and trying to convince me that I'm wrong. I became scared being in a presence of a woman who would kill her kids if she started hearing voices from supposed god. And I was scared that, apperently, other kids seemed to just silently agree with her or they didn't even think to question that story. That was probably the beginning of my journey into science, atheism, antitheism and satanist philosophy. Also, Poland continuously shows no respect for women and catholic church plays a big role in it so I think it's a civic duty to stand against them. I think that we must battle dogma and organized religion as it all only exist to maintain control, wealth and power. I avoid attacking anyone as an individual on their beliefs but I will always attack the institutions.

In 2016 my twenty year old nephew committed suicide. He was smart and kind. He didn't use drugs or alcohol. He was in college, doing well, and wanted to become a math professor. My family was completely at a loss and totally in shock. My sister, his mother would say he left this world because he was too good for it. Eight months after his suicide, my mother died suddenly and unexpectedly. Through the grieving process I went through so many emotions about everything. During the later part of 2016 and into 2017 I started questioning my faith in God. I was very angry with God and my faith began to weaken. In 2021 I tried going back to church to rededicate my life back to God. I just didn't feel it though. I then started researching a bit more. I started looking into history and found so many horrible things that had been done in the name of God. Things in the bible as well as many other recorded events. All of a sudden religion just became silly and archaic. I've also suffered from depression throughout my life. I've sought help from God as well as church. Never helped. What did help was me taking initiative to consult with my doctor so he could provide proper medication and talking with professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists that helped me work through my own problems. Just in the last month I started saying that I am an atheist. So far, I feel relief and good about this direction my life is taking. I guess the hardest thing is that all of my family past & present identify as Christians, so now I feel a bit of an outsider and alienated. But I think I felt that way before anyway.

After 12 years of Catholic schools and irritating the clergy by asking those same questions over and over, I finally came to the conclusion that they just did not know. This confirmed my long held suspicion that God was imaginary. I guess I have always been an atheist without actually knowing it. I sure pissed off many a nuns and priests with my *attitude problem* though and it always felt good when I did. Thomas Ruwart it’s a shame but the issue is that religion is pretty complicated even for most clergy. To explain how it is that God is everywhere to a child would be rough because you have to get into aristotelian/platonic metaphysics that have to do with being and the distinctions between essence and existence, act and potency, and how atemporality and immateriality work. It’s all really complicated stuff.

Working backward through your catalogue. This, in broad terms, mirrors my own experience. I had a very patient and long suffering atheist friend who (while never judging me whichever direction I went) supported me in my journey. For myself, it was the (almost painful) decoupling of my Christian identity from my own sense of self that was the hardest. I knew what my family would think, I knew what my current, primarily Christian, friend group would think; and I was scared of that...hurt by it. It is strange to think about now, in retrospect, but the day I said out loud (alone in my room) "I...don't think I believe in Jesus anymore." was actually terrifying for someone had placed so much value in that before. I remember actually holding my breath, for what seemed like an eternity, waiting for something bad to happen as a result of that declaration. That was more than 20 years ago. The biggest realization came when I realized how little the core of who I was (or felt I was) would change (this is not a universal outcome, it just was in my case and might be for others). I think my happiest moment was when my Dad (still very much a fundamentalist Christian) was sitting across the table from me just staring at my face (clearly in deep thought). I smirked and asked what was up. He said "You present a challenge to me. I know you said you are an Atheist but I think you are such a good, moral, upstanding man and I am proud of you...that challenges my notion of what an Atheist is."

I really just hope to help people. also, the thing where, if my belief makes my life better, even if its false, then it really harms no one to believe in it.. i must say the thing is. they attributed things like love to the God in our hearts as a Christian. but that love stayed even when i stopped praying or really believing in a God. it made me feel like they might have taken feelings common to human beings and spiritualized them as evidence of God. ?? thats said im going to try to be more patient and less excited. to show them a consistent acceptance. because i might be met with opposition and disbelief if i am too straightforward. i will trust in time, that the inconsistencies they find will stay in their mind as questions until they start to find more and more holes in their belief. after all thats how it all started for me. maybe i can only get them to love me as a person and thats fine too. if i cant make the question their beliefs ill at least be happy if they accept me as a valid, loving person who happens to be atheist

@MrMarco855 - Well, that's basically what I did, but I went one step further than most believers will allow themselves to go and allowed myself to question the very foundations of my faith, and that was to question those who claimed to have being speaking for God in the first place, which include those who wrote the Bible. What I found wasn't a Holy book written or even "inspired" by God, but a book written by men claiming to be speaking for God. The evidence points to the Bible (and all the other Holy books for that matter) as being the works of men. No supernatural entity involved.
@MrMarco855 Жыл бұрын
What evidence is there that men wrote the Bible without inspiration from God, or the New Testament from the teachings and life of Jesus? The 4 gospels in the New Testament have historical verification dating ever closer to the lifetime of Jesus. The most recent finding and authentication dates to less than 100 years, about 80 A.D. The other 3 gospels have been authenticated in the date range of 120 to about 200 A.D. Not that long ago the earliest authentication was about 150 A.D., that's now only 80 A.D. The point is that as more evidence comes to light, verification of discovered manuscript is getting very close to the time that Jesus was on Earth. As it is now, one gospel is only one generation from being first person written. Many/most of those that say they left the Church because they doubt the authenticity of the Bible, won't return to the Church if/when authenticity of the New Testament occurs. I say this because I don't believe most left the Church for that reason.
