I my ex was monkey branching from the beginning of the relationship. We lasted one year. Sure I was heartbroken, but everything helped when the full truth came out. Her entire family and network turned their backs on her. Even her oldest kid hates her now, because he loved me and so did everyone in her family. I did absolutely nothing other than going no contact. But karma hit her in the ass. She gave up on something good and instead messed around with her narcissistic ex husband who everyone hates because he treated her like shit. And yes she tried many times to get me back but I gave her the cold shoulder. I don’t accept betrayal like that. I’m still hurting inside though because I miss the kids, especially her oldest son because he is so devastated from what she did. So yeah my hearth cries for him and rest of the family ofc…

What if this all happened because of country issues and she loss her mother.. I didn't go to the funeral due to bad timing and I was in another country at the time. Since she lost her mom, her dad got involved and ever since then she changed bigtime she was madly in love with me but her dad was saying to her leave him he is no good.. And since she had that talk with him I wasn't allowed to come back to her as she lives at home. Suddenly she lost feelings and was saying she needs space.. We broke up this January and we haven't talked in a few weeks.

I occasionally pass my Ex at work and at first I was getting cold hellos when he passed me. This has now stopped and recently he has started really obviously running away or blanking me/pretending to be on his phone….. It’s been 7 months. Why is he doing this?

If anyone wants to keep options open, don't enter an exclusive relationship ever! Just say "I want to keep it casual" or "I'm only interested in friends with benefits". This way, it will be totally okay to pick a better option later and leave without disappointing anyone. If you enter an exclusive relationship, but treat it as an open/casual relationship - you are playing games, using people's feelings!
