The truth is whether it was romantic or a friendship or whatever, if you were really good to someone and a consistently solid person, and you go away, that person will always want you back at some point. And if it was them that dumped you or pushed you away, they will feel extremely guilty and terrible and ashamed. They might never tell you this or they may come around months or years later. But if you've gone no contact and truly do not engage with them, they are suffering and morning losing you. It's so rare to experience solid and genuine people, that none of us forget them. Even tho so many people take it for granted when they have these people. They think they will always be around or they can always get them back. When they realize they cannot, it hurts.

I just don't see it. I treated my girl better than any guy she's ever dated and she told me that several times, I took her out every week on date nights, listened to her, was her go-to person to call when something happened in her day etc yet she blocked me literally everywhere after we had a simple argument. I took 1 day to cool off after the argument and her ego couldn't handle that I needed time, so she ran entirely and didn't even have the balls to break it off formally. I don't think she's hurting at all or even regretting anything, she's angry and spiteful towards me.

My ex told me 8 months ago that doesn't want see me again, in October her father texted me, wished me for University and apologized for her behavior. 2 months later he wrote again for wishing me for Christmas and New Year, after 5 days, she texted me for wishing a New Year and stuff like that. in February she texted me again, she asked me when I will move to Germany, and told me to text her when I go to Germany because we will be closer and things will be much better she said me, and follows me in Instagram and watches all my story. And this is the thing, I treated her too good, I also wrote poems and stuff like that for her, I know stupid, but I wanted make her happy, and she left because she thought she can do better.

My two month relationship was this. He needed more flexibility due to his work schedule. Nothing he asked of me was unreasonable, I was trying to be understanding and flexible. After agreeing to these terms the next day, he broke up with me, "saying the relationship seemed one-sided." He had all the issues and concerns, and I had none. I enjoyed my time with him. He was my safe space. Unlike him I have an established work-life balance and he didn't and that was fine. I wish he would not have jumped the gun on ending things. I will remain in NC 😏 and hope he calls soon.

Hey coach idk if you'll read this but I'm the guy you talked with last Friday that sends those weekly messages in that discord I told you about...anyways something flipped in my head today like a light switch from listening to one of your videos and it gave me the push to take your advice. So I left that server, and I feel a lot better - like I took some power back and more importantly I took some self esteem and self respect back too. There's no more avenue for breadcrumbing or temptation on my end to have a pseudo connection by proxy through mutual friends. That's never what I wanted anyways. Coach, I was the dumper; it was a really hard decision but, I also perceived the gap in interest; she would always do more things for her friends or even for new people than for me. In the end this was draining for me because I felt underappreciated and became a guarantee for her. Two weeks after our breakup she was already dating one of the “friends” she valued more. NC truly works, I did all imaginable things after the break up from begging, pleading , to physical abuse ( not proud of this). She left me with 3 kids. I only understand this because of taking breaks from the relationship at various points where she would break up with me and when she would come back, she would apologize to me and express where her mind was and the battle she was internalizing instead of communicating with me to work through those problems. A big reason I gave her chances to return was if she was willing to put the work in, but she wouldn't, and yes, I was also to blame for the dynamic that I put her on this pedestal because I wanted her to see that I was willing to support her and lift her up, and show her I would be her strength when she was feeling weak. She was emotionally broken and not capable of giving anything to the relationship and I kept adding more and more of myself while she was giving less and less. This is why no contact is a power move or self-respect-move TO better yourself and move forward…it’s not for the purpose of getting your ex back. *IF* that happens, and you still want them, then it’s a bonus. Plus there is no other beneficial move, than to go nc. Once a person goes into no contact, you have to develop the mindset and operate like they are gone for good. Detach, and acceptance is part of grief and letting go

help me! I have been with a Christian girl for 3.5 years. she did it randomly 1 month after she agreed to get engaged to me. the week before the wedding planning. Sounds like someone who is unrealistic about how a relationship is supposed to work. You got past the honeymoon and infatuation phase of a relationship thinking it's all over and not meant to be. My ex husband did this, I didn’t realise it at the time. At first it felt amazing, like wow this guy adores me! But after years I just resented him and wanted a man who had an opinion on dinner, what we watched on telly anything!! I think there was other things too for me, like he was more of a friend but I left him in the end and people were like what he’s so nice! I moved on and found a man with loads of opinion maybe too much haha! He’s the one I want back! I wish I could afford to have a chat with you coach, I also kind of fear my situation would shock you as it’s just way too much drama, and I’m in a place (partly thanks to your videos actually) where I have the attitude he can chase me now or it’s his loss!
