Thanks for giving me clarity. 18 month LDR, I recently spent a week with him and felt I'd been shifted to the friendship box even though he still called me his woman. Got home, I was 99% certain he was talking to another woman. He denied it, declined to end the relationship, talked about our next visit together then put even more emotional distance between us. He denied it again but I was certain so presented him with evidence, he didn't deny it this time but didn't admit it either. I wished him well by text, no contact for 10 days so far. I'm not certain we'll ever speak again but at least now I know unless he reaches out, he stays a stranger. We live in different countries so no chance of meeting by accident. 1. I think it would depend how long you guys were together. 2. What happend in the relationship. 3. How they feel about you. 4. Why would you want to get back with someone who obviously rejected you clearly and didn't fight for the relationship? 5. It will not be the same, the trust is gone, if you guys ever get back together. They broke that trust. It was THEIR doing. 6. Six months is a lot of time to think about whether you want someone back. A lot of things can happen in that time frame. Someone could get into another relationship. There can be a death in the family. A job loss, etc. If they will abandon you, they unfortunately never loved you or really cared. Plain and simple. A relationship and love is supposed to be there for you through thick and thin (sans abuse), but for the very most part, you are supposed to be able to rely on your partner. If they can bolt for any small or big reason, then they weren't that committed to you in the first place, sadly. It's better to start afresh with somone who DOES value that chance and won't throw it away or squander it!

My girl broke up with few days ago… we still live together as we have an appartement. This is basically torture. My ex and I were so good. We were so happy, so in love. We've never laughed so much, never experienced so much in life. For years she made so much effort, showed such kindness, thoughtfulness, love, as did I. Then she slowly stopped, rationed it, fed me crumbs, to the point I was having to ask, beg for affection, for love. She never wanted to divorve her husband, still lived in the family home and never wanted to buy together, she never wanted to leave her comfortable bubble. We argued, I left, then after 3 weeks of NC she messged, she told me she missed me, missed us etc. We tried again, then after a few amazing dates as a couple and a family, she held back, acted strange. She spoke and told me that she no longer feels the same. Im heart broken. I gave my all, treated her like a woman should be treated, gave up and sacrificed so much to make us work, and all she did was take what I had and drained me emotionally, physically and financially. Can someone help me make sense of this, my ex is in a rebound relationship...around August and September it seemed that the relationship was really flourishing they were posting on sm nd seemed happy ( but also around September he came to see me twice, and told me how he loved me and how he still has feelings for me, but also said he will now not reach out to me again) on the month of Oct their relationship took a pause...I think he felt lonely again and went back in November.. the girl has started posting him again...during their Lil break up she deleted everything. My ex moved out 7 months ago. Little breadcrumbs but nothing substantial for the past 2 months. Still with his monkey branch from all I can guess. I still have a good amount of his things and have wondered if I should just tell him one day that I'm bringing his stuff to his place. I've been taking the route of waiting for him to mention getting them. I don't know what is the right thing to do. I figure, he left me, if he wants his stuff back then he can come and get them. If he had MY things I would get my things and go no contact. Let him feel the full loss of me. I feel like I'm stuck in limbo because I still have his stuff, but I'm doing no contact. They're expensive things, too, which I know he will want back. So I feel like he can never really feel the full loss of me if I'm hanging onto them. I don't know what to do. Any advice?

He has to put for the effort to come and get them. You aren’t technically hanging onto them if he left them behind. You could put them in a storage unit

My story with her is the following so if anyone has anything to say about it , tell me. She came to study for some months in my country ( she is from America and I'm in Europe ), and we met and started hanging out. After 2-3 dates , she decided, after talking with her friends of course, that she shouldn't get closer with me since she is leaving in two months and because her friends told her that she should be single since she got out of a long year relationship. We stop for some days and we talk again after i texted and went out again. I had started feeling things for her too but i knew it would have to stop after she had to leave. In that date , she told me that she kissed with someone when we werent talking and although we didn't have a relationship, I didn't like it . She started crying saying she was sorry and everything but I couldn't say anything either because like I said we weren't in a relationship. So i told her that we could continue hooking up and shit but nothing more I guess. After 2 days she decides AGAIN that we have to stop this because again her friends say that we shouldnt continue either and because she told them i made her cry and they said i was an asshole ( although it wasnt my fault really). I say fuck this , and we stop talking again. Buut, i texted her after a week and again she agreed to go out. After that , she said she didn't want to keep her self back and that she wants to be with me only since she has feelings..or so i thought. After 2 weeks, hanging almost everyday together and doing all kinds of things, we get in a relationship. We said that we wanted to keep it evn though if she left , and that i would come in America to work and be with her after some months. She agreed that she wanted to try this because she didn't want to lose me. Her crying almost every time thinking that she would have to leave me and everything made me believe that she wanted this . Aand after 4 days after she left , she decided that she wasn't ready for a relationship and that she wasn't sure of she loved me back , although she was saying it, and that she needed more time to say it and be more meaningful. So..we break up and we haven't talked since..i haven't sent anything and disappeared .. although i havent deleted her from Instagram. Im still thinking about her after a month now, and although i feel better than i was at the beginning, I still miss her and cant move on. Im still going to America but in a different state because i have family there . Any thoughts on this?

What is confusing I will go to these relationship website and you do a quiz to determine if your ex will come back and one of the questions is if your ex contacted since the break up… and mine hasn’t it’s been 3 weeks and based on these quizzes it’s like a low chance of my ex coming back but I thought the whole point of no contact was neither you or ur ex will communicate for a while and this can be months.. and it’s for your ex to reach out first… so that has been confusing and low key distress to me
