Oh Happy Day! An orchard is a great blessing. How nice of Stark Bros.! Hey Ben I love the way you jump on your shovel to dig holes. My Dad used to do that when I was growing up in Kings Mountain NC. He had peach trees, apple & pear trees, pecan, blackberries, and a host of other trees too. Thanks for jogging my memory of that! Love & Miss My Dad! He's up in Heaven with Jesus. On a practical note just put chicken wire cylinders around the trees to protect them from deer or other hungry animals you may have roaming around over there.

Deer are one of the worst issues with young fruit trees. Their rubbing in the fall has damaged several of mine over the years. I've used a black plastic mesh instead of chicken wire for the same purpose.

I used to live in Louisiana, MO (home of Stark Bros!) and it was awesome to be able to go to their garden center and shop whenever I wanted. I have toured their greenhouses and packing sheds, and watched people graft the trees. It is quite the amazing operation!

I almost cried because I'd love to be able to order fruit trees here where I live and I can't I can't get any good quality stuff here where I live in Mexico and I live vicariously through you people on KZbin and to watch you go through those Leaps and Bounds that you do is just incredible to me those are things that I would have been willing to do as a young woman I'm now 58 I'm disabled I struggle just and a little flower bed so I'm thrilled for your trees I'm thrilled for you I'm thrilled for your children God bless

I'm going to be 60 this April but at 50 my husband moved us to a hobby farm. I admire you being disabled and keeping a garden. I have really enjoyed having a garden and chickens but it is time consuming but I'm so lucky to "play farm" at our place! I dreamed of this when I was 15 years old. When I was a 5 year old I ate peaches off trees that my mama planted from seed when she was 5 years old. My grandpa gave me slices from his pocket knife. One of my very favorite memories.

Somewhere around 10:50 with the music and you both planting trees I got this flash of much older versions of you watching this video and reminiscing where it all began. Not gonna lie, might have been a tear or two. In your family I see a life that I always dreamed about but through no fault but my own, never achieved.
