It's well over 500 dollars for this MB and an Intel U5. You'll need to upgrade the ram, too. That's too much for a midrange system. I'm going to wait for Battlemage reviews to come out, and possibly build a system around that.

I'm guessing prices might get adjusted in the coming weeks/months following Arrow Lake's official launch, where we might see price adjustments by AMD and hopefully by Intel too as they trade blows. What's the specs of the PC that you're using at the present moment?

@@ALKtech Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz It's a gaming laptop with a 1660ti. I don't even need to upgrade.

I have heard this MB will only be good for one generation. If that is so, why not wait for the next gen MB?

This is pure speculation, but I have a feeling we might see an Arrow Lake Refresh on the LGA1851 platform, going by the fact that all the Z890 boards I've had the chance to look at thus far all come with the feature to update the BIOS without a CPU/RAM/graphics card 🤔 but again, this is by no means a reliable crystal ball to predict the future 😂
