I really miss the festivals in Thailand and the atmosphere they create. That has to be the biggest dog outside of a great dane i've seen.. humongous. All that chicken and other foods is enough for a week. Thanks for the walk around. Bushyboy Oz.

I can understand why you want to do the great escape during the festival. We have one in Phanat Nikhom every year too. I would say these festivals are always very similar wherever you go. I have stopped going now and every time my wife and the kids come back from any festival they say the same thing 'mai sanook'.

In our village about 30 miles from you the monk say about how much money he has to have to stay in the village.And my sister in law cuts the rubber trees in the morning and he asked if he could do that as it would fit in with his praying and other monk jobs for pay obviously.
