Horses eat a completely plant based diet and their manure will compost as a natural fertilizer. Dogs generally do not have a plant based diet. :)

And they never go near home 🤣 I would never trek 2,3,5,10 miles BACK on foot or via car to collect it! Also, once it dries, it just disintegrates into wispy, dried-grass looking organic mulch…stuff. Floats away on the breeze.

Hi Josie love your vlog as always… although surprised at you buying mouth products with fluoride when you’re usually so into your health and avoiding chemicals and toxic products..?! Also dog and cat poo is toxic/harmful to humans, horse poo is just grass and hay feed which is only grains so isn’t harmful at all to us :) hope that helps xx

Hi Josie as an equestrian and a huge follower ❤just on the the horse poo question , 1 ) it’s a bit hard to jump on and off every time the horse pops and back in the day people use to run out to collect horse poo for their garden , you can’t compare dog poop to horse poop lol I would gladly pick up my horse poop with my hand as just recycled grass, definitely not dog poop ! 😅
@lovevivi29453 ай бұрын
Horses eat very different food from dogs and their poo can be used as manure and dogs poo is toxic. Also, you cant really expect a rider to get on and off their horse and carry a spade and huge poop bags.😊

Hi Josie, I was brought up in central London, my Mum was very much like you, regarding London Mews and horses.. There are two stables left in central London, after the cavalry Ross Nye stables now run by his daughter Kirsty and Bathurst mews stables.. I rode at Ross Nye's an institution for children in London.. an Australian man and his pianist wife.. they have a large farm in surrey too, and all the horses spend summer and Easter there.. the horse poo is picked up by the girls who work at the stables..put in black bin bags swept up the bags are taken away as manure .. i know cause i did that job from age 11 to 15 before after school and all weekend.. I was then married at 17 to a French Man and i have lived in France ever since.. I enjoy watching your Videos as i spent a lot of my child hood in Cotswolds too in Broadway and Chipping Campden .. In answer to your question about horse poo: Horses poo is made up of grass and water and will not attract vermin etc. It will easily break down when it rains, etc. Dog poo is full of animal protein and smelly. Also how would a rider dismount, (some need a mounting block to re-mount) pick up the poo and carry it with them? It's a country side thing here in Kent, so should be the same in the Cotswolds?! You can always collect the horse poo and take it home with you as it's good manure for your garden!

Lovely vlog Josie….love when it has a little bit of EVERYTHING. fitness, gardening, fashion, London, time in the kitchen, events etc.. I wanted to ask you about the Erborian CC & BB cream. Can you please tell me which one you prefer and what are the main differences between the two? Like which one has more coverage, which is more moisturizing and more glowy. Does one look heavier on the skin and one look more natural. I would like to try one and just couldn’t decide which one to get so I thought I would ask you since I know you’ve worn and been a fan of Erborian for a long time. Also just as a FYI, I’m only mentioning this because you said you added a “big handful” of Brazil nuts. Brazil nuts are so high in selenium that the max you should really eat is 1-3 nuts a day. Eating more than that can actually lead to toxicity. Each nut has 95 micrograms and an adult only needs 55 ❤micrograms a day. So you’re already getting nearly double the daily allowance with just one nut. Definitely with eating a handle full you had 4-6 nuts which would be nearly 400-600 micrograms which could give you toxicity if you did that regularly so please be careful! I personally think 3 nuts a day is pushing it to the max. They say you can eat up to 3 but that’s still 7 times the daily required allowance. Thanks for all your hard work! Your vlogs are a definite standout❤

I'm no expert Josie, so I might be totally wrong, but horse manure can be used as a natural fertiliser for people's gardens or farms. So may be that's why it's not cleared up by the owner. As some people might think, goody 😃 the horse has left me something I can use in the garden, and it's organic. Where as dog droppings cannot be used as a fertiliser. Just a thought, but I could be wrong 😃 x 🌸🐴 ☀️
@helenstella26663 ай бұрын
You are correct. But the manure has to be left for at least 3/6 months before it can be used as a fertiliser as fresh manure can burn the roots of plants. So it has to be aged .. I believe 👍

With most appliances that have the same timer as the Wonder Oven, the timer works best if you go past 20 mins, then back down to the correct time instead of going from zero to your cooking time. For example if you wanted to cook something for 6 minutes, turn the timer past the 20 minute mark, then immediately back down to 6 minutes. It needs a little wake me up.

The string method with tomatoes definitely works - Monty Don uses it and has shown it on Gardeners World a few times - but there's something far wrong with your tomato plants, they should have nice big leaves on them to help nourish the fruit! I've never seen such 'denuded' plants before - it's really unlikely that they'll be able to grow much fruit. Once 2 flower trusses have set you're supposed to feed them weekly.

Hi Josie, another fabulous vlog. I only ever want to come to this channel with positive vibes but I really want to share something that’s probably less cheerful than your brilliant content. Being of Celtic heritage, I have very pale skin, fair hair, and blue eyes. Needless to say, having a tan has always meant a fake one or none. When I was 19 years old, I managed to get very seriously sunburned while on a date with my now husband ( said husband gets a lovely tan of course). This sunburn was so painful and took a while to get over and the result was I never, ever, got sunburned again. Roll on 35 years later, and I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. A couple of successful surgeries and I began my five year cancer check ups. Two years later, a very innocuous looking spot turned out to be a further melanoma and this time surgery involved taking a significant chunk out of arm. But everything was successful again and I’m now in year three of my five year post cancer journey. However, during this time I lost my brother to melanoma cancer at 58 years old. You are very careful at purchasing and using the correct products but any sunburn has the potential to turn into something more serious. None of my friends or family can believe I ended up with the most serious of skin cancers as I am so careful of my sun exposure. Also, I’ve always worked indoors - unlike my brother who did work in construction so was more exposed. Do continue to enjoy the sun but please remember, even though the redness and soreness of a sunburn will disappear pretty quickly, it’s the underlying damage that we don’t see that does the real cause of concern. Besides - you are literally the Queen of Fake-tanning so you can always achieve that fabulous glow without putting your skin in danger!! I hope this comment is received in the manner in which it’s intended - a cautionary tale of the longer term damage that we don’t see in our younger years. Love your channel always ❤❤❤
