Mass Accountability

2 жыл бұрын

This was on Wednesday February 9th 2022, outside of the St. Petersburg water resource facility in St. Petersburg Florida. I was there with Open Government Investigations and we were going to do public records request. Within 5 minutes we were approached by a very uneducated security security guard. A couple minutes later one of his buddies approached us tapproach us telling us that we were trust passing on homeland security property. Soon after that a whole group of people came out and were giving us cambacks. They eventually called the police, who took quite a bit of time to get there, since their police department is right across the street. The interactions I had with the security and other employees was very intense. Please let me know what you think of these interactions in the comments section down below. If you want uncensored and add free videos go subscribe to my Odysee channel. All donations are happily and humbly accepted!!! Much love, respect and appreciation!!!

@@vicariawilliams6585 I'm glad you said that and not me, because that was puzzling the hell out of me wondering why he wasn't more interested in hard gained rights. This effects all poor and working class people, no matter the race. If the past two years have taught us anything, I'd say its that we're all slaves to the system, but especially poor and working class. If we don't use our rights, we lose them. I'd of thought that would of made the old guy more empathetic towards the auditors.

Better RULES definitely HAVE to apply to the body cams. I would like to see a law that the body cams turn on once the officer punches their time card. And that Officers have NO CONTROL of the cameras functionings at any time. They should have NEVER been given that ability 🤬
@lesliesylvan
@lesliesylvan 2 жыл бұрын
Che'rie Edwards: Yes, agreed. Even when on the toilet, since cams face away, so they can't have an excuse to conspire, even there! Also, K-9's should have 360 body-cams, to keep an eye on their handlers. I've been leaving such comments for over a year! 👍👍🏼👍🏾

Although I agree with your point. Unfortunately, officers have to have a certain level of control of the body cams. To record an entire 8 hour shift would force the body cam to be enormous for the level of battery that would require as well as the storage. The officer would also have to have a way to turn the camera off when they enter the restroom and such places. I think that the second they respond to a call the dispatcher should send a signal activating the camera and then the dispatcher would have to turn it off remotely once the call is completed.

NOTE THAT NEITHER THE PATRIOT ACT NOR THE HOMELAND SECURITY ACT HAVE ANY PROVISIONS THAT RESTRICT PHOTOGRAPHY. The ISE-SAR criteria guidance, issued by the department of homeland security, re photography “these activities are generally first amendment-protected activities and should not be reported in a SAR or ISE-SAR absent articulable facts and circumstances that support the source agency’s suspicion that the behavior observed is not innocent, but rather reasonably indicative of criminal activity associated with terrorism, including evidence of pre-operational planning related to terrorism. Race, ethnicity, national origin, or religious affiliation should not be considered as factors that create suspicion (although these factors may be used as specific suspect descriptions).”

@finbarmartin9761
@finbarmartin9761 2 жыл бұрын
@@NeverTalkToCops1 VOID FOR VAGUENESS A fundamental explication of the modern Supreme Court’s concerns regarding overly vague statutes is found in Grayned v. City of Rockford (1972). The Court upheld a city ordinance restricting any “noise or diversion” that would disrupt activities at a public school against claims of vagueness. Because Rockford’s ordinance was aimed at disruptive speech and was grounded in the interest of ensuring the order needed for a proper education, the Court found no constitutional violation. But the Court did suggest three reasons why overly vague statutes are unconstitutional. • First, due process requires that a law provide fair warning and provides a “persons of ordinary intelligence a reasonable opportunity to know what is prohibited, so that he may act accordingly.” • Second, the law must provide “explicit standards” to law enforcement officials, judges, and juries so as to avoid “arbitrary and discriminatory application.” • Third, a vague statute can “inhibit the exercise” of First Amendment freedoms and may cause speakers to “steer far wider of the unlawful zone . . . than if the boundaries of the forbidden areas were clearly marked.”

I think some people are just to stubborn to be educated. They don´t care about the law, they just feel that because they have a badge that says "security" it´s what they say that matters. They would just go "No, no, no go back to the street" no matter how many times you tell them that you have the right to be there. They don´t want to learn. They just want to be the ones deciding who can be there and not. They´re not victims.

Man…..y’all are THE dynamic mf’n duo. I probably watch too much auditing, in general and totality, but I don’t find it to be an issue…..so when I tell you that when the two of you are operating as a unified being, brainstorming and deflecting the unlawful barbs of fearful bullies, sheeeeeesh, it’s like watching master artisans perform near natural magic by way of verbiage and intense belief. When a dozen people drive off, all of whom showed up with thoughts in direct opposition not only to you but your intent as well, years of “anti” whatever you’re into or suggesting…..then like an unforeseen tide they drive away either refreshed by new thought and respect or dizzied by conflagration of radically opposed yet unencroachable law based logic.
