The exact same meaning also applies to trespass laws, just FYI. However, Dave is also right. Displaying signs as a form of protest, in a place legally recognized as a traditional public forum, is protected by the 1st and 4th amendment. Specifically, the right to free speech, the right to redress your government for grievances, and the right to be secure in personal property from seizure. A trifecta of constitutional rights violations.
