Great video! I'm more or less at the same level as your guest, and I found it very interesting that I understand him speaking Turkish better than I do native speakers. :D Sirbistan'dan selamlar, and keep up the great work, both of you!

Çok teşekkür. That's really great to have interviews like that. I wish it had subtitles too. I also study Turkish and I actually I didn't believe I am at B1 level but I think I am not too far off. I try and watch Turkish movies on netflix with the subtitles. It really helps. I agree that the Turkish course on Duolingo is not that good. I am studying with Busu now. And it's much more interactive. I hope you'll upload more videos like this one Cem! Thank you!

why not do both. everyone hates on duolingo for the complete wrong reasons. u r not even b1, u shouldnt even have an opinion as to what is a good resource or not.

@@memetsb Thanks for the challenge I'm with you on that! I actually completed the course on Duolingo 100% before I went on to research other apps and found Busuu. I got gold on most of my Turkish sections on Duolingo and the daily practice was extremely repetitive. I felt I was barely between A1 and A2 at the end of the completed course though it did give me a solid vocabulary basis. Now I can confidently say I am A2. I guess I could go back at some point just to double check has the course been updated and improved but before that I plan to complete the course on Busuu and probably will check the app this lad was talking about Lingq 😅
