I only just started learning Turkish and am finding that the language is not as phonetic as instructors have said it is. With the r, and also with the differences in pronunciation that my ear is picking up in other syllables depending on their locations in words (a, e, ı), there are more rules than I had anticipated. Not that they can't be overcome, but it's gonna take some more mindfulness to get good. I still feel like Farsi, when transliterated in English, reigns as the easiest and most straightforward language I've been able to pronounce when learning.

@ u should ban Bollywood. It’s a gutter of pornography. Brahmins created pornography as a system in india and distributed it thru Bollywood which is a mafia organization, highly schematic and antithetical to humanity . good is an exaggeration. u can literally hear the accent. its like that italian guy on masterchef. u can hear his accent. idk how u think italians have a good accent for turkish just cuz of a similarity between one letter 💀

I’m gonna be honest I love the Greek/Italian/Spanish accent you can hear when they speak Turkish
