Oh man! The amount of time I spent to find the perfect new old stock tritium hands for my red 1680 that had service hands. Doing detective work needs to be a hobby like watch collecting!

I have no problem with restored watches. i actually prefer it, of course the price has to be right. I dont like beat up old watches. Patina is not the same as beat up. But that distinction depends on the person.

great video as always 👍🏼 i want to buy a vintage tudor prince, how do i determine if the movement was recently serviced and is not dried up? of course only if the seller opens the case and lets me have a look with a magnifier… by the way, where exactly are you from, too hard to pinpoint your accent?! greetings from munich✌🏼

That clicky sound effect doesn't add anything to the video and it gets annoying after a while.

at a certain point you’re going to need to hire someone to help you.
