Well is more complicated than that. It is away of the show, but in the Bible and other religions angels are very scary in appearance, nothing to do with the images that we grew up with, so there was a very heavy reason why they said that phrase.

@@dreademperor2094 I'll say, his Michael seems more like a angry control freak rather then a warrior of justice. now my version of him may be voiced by Terrence C Carson (Kratos from the Greek GOW games) which works when he *is* angry like when he learned what Lucifer did with Eve and almost killed him in a blind rage until Lilith stopped him, but he's more nuanced then that, he can be kind when interacting with Charlie, he shows regret when Lucifer and Lilith, knowing he ruined his relationship with his twin and remorse when they reconcile, he's discussed by Lute's braising zealousness as a aberration on Heaven's values, he also shares Lucifer any Gabriel's views on Adam, seeing him as ungrateful, entitled brat, but he keep a stiff upper lip on matters, and if you threaten his loved ones, then may you find mercy in the next life, because you've lost all rights to it in this one.
