If I had to give one tip to anyone, at least try a locked diff in AC. You do that by putting diff coast and diff power to 100%. It's just a bit easier to keep the car in drift and it's easier to understand what's happening when your rear wheels aren't spinning at different speeds. When you get into more pro cars tho, especially if your drifting a track where u have to stretch corners even after turning up your gear ratio try to mess with them a bit.

Over my journey of a few months, I've noticed that if I took a break for like 3-4 days between learning it all came together easier that next time I practiced

I have the exact same moments as well after a day or so of struggling it's usually smooth sailing the next day 😂

gotta agree with u on the T150. I got the tmx which is just the xbox version of that and for the first year I was simdrifting I used it and had to turn the rotation down to 540 degrees so I didn't have to rotate the wheel to counter steer. Gotta say this year after I got my DD wheel I am way happier running 1080 and having no issues
